As other customers have mentioned, the holes are not aligned but a simple drill with a power tool is all that is needed to fix that. Besides that minor complication, the assembly was simple and the product is extremely durable and adorable! great purchase I highly recommend it!

We ordered two and they arrived in a couple of days! They were easy to put together- you are going to need a power drill, and they looked very nice and sturdy. This is an excellent value compared to similar products that cost 2 or 3 times more. Thanks!

This storage bench is very nice when it is finished but putting it together was brutal. Im very glad i bought it but if you get aggrivated easily i would not recommend this. The pieces that lock the screws in twist inside, or fall out because the are not tight enough. It was a mess and what i thought would be the easiest to put together ended up being the hardest.

Received the bench quickly from the warehouse. Started to assemble however the base was not drilled properly to allow the dowel rods and screws to properly align. Contacted the shipper and they sent another base that was properly fitted, however this one had a damaged left rear corner. The third time was the charm everything looked and fitted perfectly. Their customer service was excellent in taking care of our problem.

This is another great Kidkraft product. We purchased this for our daughters playroom and it's a wonderful addition. We also have the matching table and chair set, which is an excellent set as well. This was easy to put together, took my husband only a short while, and it's larger than I thought it would be, a real plus!!! The one great thing I love about Kidkraft is that they stand by their products. Anytime you need a replacement part, all you have to do is go to their website, order it, and they will ship it directly to you free of charge, even in Canada. I especially like this feature and that is why I am a huge fan of the Kidkraft products. A terrific buy for the price, well made and looks great!!!

I purchased this item to coordinate with the KidKraft Nantucket table set in pastels and it is a perfect match. KidKraft does an awesome job of color coding screws and easy to follow directions made assembly a quick thing. I did it by myself in less than 20 minutes.
This piece also has a quality look to it and so far has been incredibly durable. I am considering the purchase of another one to put downstairs in the family room where the overflow of toys always seem to end up!

This matched my daughters room perfectly, so I read the reviews and had to have it. It came in today, and looks amazing. I only had one problem, the dowels and holes didnt match up. My husband and I decided to saw the dowels off completely so it would fit correctly. If the holes/dowels lined up than assembly would have been SO easy. All together it was a lil more work than I planned on(still took less than 30 mins) and it looks AMAZING. I am still going to buy the matching table even though I had a lil trouble with this, and I would still buy it again!! Also, it is bigger than I thought which was a plus for us!!
