This is a beautiful, well built little bed and it was a better value than we expected for the price. Very sturdy. Easy to put together. Nice looking. My daughter can lay next to her little girl with no problem. I wouldn't recommend a grown person jumping up and down on it but the slats are nice and thick and easily support her weight if she needs to lay down with her baby. The height is also great. My granddaughter has no problem at all getting in and out of bed (she is 16 months). My only wish would be a small rail at the foot of the bed which would narrow the falling out space. She is a wiggly little thing and occasionally gets too close to the edge and her legs fall off the bed.

This bed is great!! Assembly was difficult at times when putting it together alone. It would be easier to align the slats and framework with two sets of hands. However, once assembled, the bed is great. The rails are longer than my son's previous 3-n-1 convertible bed which is great because he tosses and turns. He fell out of his other bed several times, but hasn't yet fallen out of this bed because of the rails. I highly recommend this product!

I purchased this bed for my granddaughter who is two years old. It was easy to assemble, and the finish on the wood is very thick and shiny. I expected it to be of mediocre quality due to the affordable price, but it's not. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't go looking for mediocre for her, but she will only sleep in it at my house once a month, so I didn't really need something that would stand the test of time. But I'm confident that this bed will last through many grandchildren.
