Wicker Hamper, Blue

I read the reviews before I purchased this item. I knew that the quality would not be a sturdy wicker, but I needed something that was cheap and would look nice. The sides expand with the weight of the clothes inside since the wicker is not that thick or strong. The color matched my room well. I recommend you know what you're getting into before you buy something.

The color and general appearance of the hamper is very nice, almost luxurious. However, is overpriced for the quality of the workmanship. It is very light and does not appear to be sturdy. It will only hold 2 days, possibly 3 days at the most of laundry and we only have us 2 adults in our family. The one that I bought this one as a replacement for was about 20 years old. The weaving had began to come off. It was all lined inside and heavy. This is not. I would not give it even one half of the 20 years that the other one served me. All I can honestly say is its pretty and a nice blue.

This handsome piece has replaced a broken down basket held together with duct tape. It is an attractive, functional piece of furniture, if you will, in my bedroom. Am very pleased with this unit.
