Discgear Selector 80-CD / DVD / Game Disc Retrieval System - Black/Gray

I thought I'd give this a try since Walmart quit carrying anything like this in-store. The slider selector is nice and works like it's supposed to, but there are a couple of factors I didn't consider before I made the purchase. My discs are not secure in this disc pod. I set it on my computer desk to organize some discs. I tried to open it with one hand and it slid off of the desk, scratching a few discs as they fell to the floor and chipping one. I have three Atlantic disc pods that carry sixty with individual doors designed to carry two discs each. I've dropped these before with no damage to the discs. Next time I will spend the extra bucks and go with Atlantic.

This product advertises self-aligning slots at discgear.com. I don't know what they are talking about. I pull a disc out to use it and it's always a great big hassle to put it in the holder so that it's straight. I just don't get it. You can't beat the value, though. I would have paid twice as much for this item at Discgear. It's a great overall value, but just remember to use both hands while operating this device.

works great to organized dvd's. program easy to use to print contents and easy to update and move dvds without retyping. Only negative is no latch so have to be care moving it, but latchnot worth 20 bucks to get the more expensive model when it works so well.
Had to order more after the getting the first one, and will be getting more to finish organizing.

Awesome product at a great price. I highly recommend this to everyone.
