This digital frame is awesome. I read tons of reviews and my head was swimming with everyone's two cents. In my opinion, there are way too many snobs with unrealistic expectations. I was looking for a digital photo frame, not some super advanced technology that can tell the future. That in mind, Kodak is a world leader in photography, and their frame is awesome. The screen is bright and crisp and it's very easy to use. Overall an outstanding product.

Bought this for my 96 year old Grandfather. First thing I did after I got it out of box was plug in a USB memory stick and powered it up--and it went right into slide show mode!! Did lots of online comparisons and was thinking of Sony until I discovered that brand didn't allow for photo edits (I will be adding captions to photos for my Grandfather) and had complex menus. Touch menu on the frame is a bit odd, but it is intuitive and it works. Good picture quality. Added bonus is that my Grandfather is a long time photographer, so the Kodak name will earn his trust.

After researching and reading reviews, I knew the Kodak EasyShare M820 was the one I wanted. What a smart decision! Since it is a recent purchase, I am still learning what all it is capable of doing. I had it running a slide show right away. It's fantastic. Looking forward to doing even more with it. The quality is wonderful and I love the 8" size. Being able to add music is a real plus. The built in memory is a must to get in a digital picture frame and this one has it. The instruction book remains a lot to be desired. If I should have any questions, I will go online for a contact, which I understand from other reviews is the thing to do. Awesome Product!

Simple to use. Accepts memory cards, memory sticks, microdrives, and USB Flash drives. Has a USB port for direct connection to a computer. Displays photos, videos, and plays MP3 files on its built-in speakers. Can be hung on a wall or set on a table. My only complaint is that WINDOWS ME is not supported by the KODAK EasyShare software that comes with this digital frame.

At first glance, I thought this was like other digital frames that have a few pictures being displayed. But this little baby does tht and a lot more. With internal memory, you can play many pictures. Then I saw that it actually plays videos too! That was very worth the big price tag. The only thing I suggest is to buy a SD card (no memory stick though) for about $15 and you can have more than 300 pictures and many videos on there to display. It also carries the ability to play MP3'S TOO. So it is really cool. The only problem I had was the videos. If I downloaded a digital video to my computer, it was no problem to upload it to the SD card. But the problem I did have were the older videos of my kids younger when the camera was not a digital camera. I had a heck of a time trying to be able to play it on the screen. It took many calls to Kodak and investigating on the web to finally be able to play the older movies. I have the ImTOO AVI to MPEG program and it was able to convert it to play. Once you get it going, it is so cool and a wonderful idea, especially for people that aren't computer savvy if you alreayd have the photos and movies loaded. They will be astonished. Fun!

This is my first digital frame and I did not know what to expect. i went with Kodak because it is a brand I have trusted for many years. this product has not let me down in any way. I got another one for someone else in my family. The inner workings are not for the extreme novice, but if you fill a memory card with pictures and show them how to turn it on, it will start a slide show automatically. It took me about twenty minutes to familiarize myself with all the options and features, this is an outstanding product. I suggest a 2GB memory card with the frame.

This was my third frame (first two were off-brand) to purchase, and though it was most expensive it was definitely the best one! The first two (one was from Target and the other Belk) had major flaws and one quit working altogether. The other had a horrible picture. This is a great buy, I DEFINITELY recommend it!!!

This product was well worth it, especially at the Wal-Mart online price.
I did have difficulty setting up my slideshow. The documentation on the CD and on the user guides were pretty lacking with what types of files are compatible with the frame. I ended up doing a manual delete of file from the frame to get the slide show working.
There were some system compatibility issues between Vista Home Premium 64 bit and the software supplied on the CD. IM with the Kodak support quickly provided me a link to download the latest application software and resolved the problem.
When I transferred my slideshow to the frame, I iinitially used a SD card. Then I looked at the size of the slide show and saw it was only 35 MB which for 70 pictures. So I transferred the slideshow to the frames 128 MB memory.
It takes a while to get use to the Quick touch border controls but once you have it down it is great and readily accessible.

I bought this frame as a gift for my boyfriend who is incredibly tech savvy. He was really impressed with the screen quality and features. And it's not easy to impress him when it comes to gadgets. But he loves this frame! It was a huge bonus that it plays video too. We recently went on a vacation and took tons of pictures and videos, now he has a place to display them. For the price you really can not beat this product. I researched a bunch of the digital frames and this is the only one that had the video and sound option that didn't cost a fortune. Plus it has amazing quality, it's easy to use (I pre-loaded some pictures before I gave it as a gift to surprise him and I had no problems at all!), you can use a flash drive to increase your memory and it looks beautiful. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

Bought two of these, one for each of our mothers for their 75th birthday. Works great, easy to learn and download the pictures. Only issue I had was figuring out I had to touch the amber light on the frame and not the screen. With touchscreen tech as it is today, touching the screen is automatic. Otherwise a nice piece of electronics.

The frame's picture looks great and I loved the multiple ways of loading pics (SD/Flash/etc.). The quick touch frame controls are very cool.
However, I bought it to show short video clips with, and it had trouble with that. To keep it from bogging down, I had to convert my .avi clips to a lower resolution with an editing program. Even then, the performance wasn't great. The video would lag behind the audio of the clip. A great choice if you just want to display still pics, but questionable if you want to use video.
It is also difficult to show pics in any particular order.

I chose this product vs others for the Kodak brand and the "Easyshare" approach. The functions are superior to others I looked at and the touch screen is NICE! I found the included user manual greatly lacking and the one I downloaded from the company not much better. In some cases the instructions were flat out WRONG! I did use their online support chat and it was GREAT and they agreed the user manual had errors.
I discovered that you can't create slide shows with iTtune music and download to the frame and play. They will play on your PC just not on frame due to iTunes restriction. (No warning anywhere on that!) Using slide shows is the best way to get pictures organized and onto your frame. By using slide shows you can control the order of the pictures. Other approaches offer no order that I found.
So far I like the frame and the EsayShare SW they ship with the frame. The PC SW is the best part of it so far. I would heartedly recommend this product with the reservations noted. Be prepared to spend time to "learn" to use it.

This was a great purchase it shows the pics awesome. But I found it not so easy to use, I had MAJOR problems downloading the program into my SONY lap top. I finally gave up and just added all of my pics to a thumb drive and added it to the frame that way. It was easy enough but now I can't figure out how to view all of the files so I am frustrated.
