Pros
Item as described will shred paper, Cds, Used Credit cards with no problems, chews up paper like a pro 10 12 14 pages pushing its limit but just chunks them down. Got rid of 20 years of receipts bills invoices just keep feeding the machine. This I would recommend this for any small home office or larger office environment.
Cons
the basket is large but it fills up fast and is a bit touchy fitting into the cabinet, I didn't seem to have much trouble but my wife had a hard time taking out the basket and getting it into the cabinet in the proper location to continue shredding.

Although this is a shredder it would be nice for a bypass to the trash bin so you do not need 2 trash bins in the office one for mags and stuff that can't be shredded or is too big to be shredded, with out pulling out the bin and making a small mess on the floor with hanging chads

Am in the middle of getting rid of years (and I mean years) of accumulated old household paperwork, including copies cancelled checks, receipts etc. that I had stored away. I have shredded 8 full lawn garbage size bags of old papers of varying sizes using this shredder so far without problems and have a couple more to go.
This shredder's performance has been terrific with no jams and I only had to turn it off to cool down one time after three to four hours of non stop shredding.
I find it easy to empty and squeeze a few drops of oil along the shredder opening each time I empty the container. I bought a couple of small bottles to keep on hand since I had so much to shred.
When I was setting up the shredder initially I had trouble trying to install the castors (they kept falling off). I called the company and they suggested I use a hammer to tap them in which fixed the issue.
Am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Received this product quickly after ordering. It is pretty quiet and haven't had a jam but there is no way this shredder will take 14 sheets at a time, which is why I purchased it. But I do like everything else about it so, if that's not important to you, it's a nice little shredder.

Returning item to store. Coaster rollers don't fit. Didn't bother to open the rest of the item as this was the least of my worries, but the worst problem. For such and expensive item, I expected the quality to be more and the machine itself to be sturdier.

Finally a shredder that is worth the money

Finally my home office a clear of sensitive documents. We had tried buying inexpensive shredders that broke down after a month or two of medium utilization. We resorted to burning sensitive documents such as bank statements , credit card solicitations and business documents. We used our wood burning fireplace or outside fire pit. Not very satisfactory since it was time consuming and messy. Having it next to my desk in my one office is very convenient. It allows me to keep up to date on my shredding.
This shredder appears to be very well constructed and runs well. It has a pull out bin that can be dumped easily. You don't have to lift the shredding mechanism to remove the shreddings. A bg plus.
It hasn't jammed to the point were it requires any maintenance. When it has stopped all it has taken was a minor adjustment and it shreds. Very pleased so far.
I am following the requirements to oil the mechanism each time the shredder bin is full. I would recommend this shredder. Don't waste money buying a less expensive one. I probably could have ought two of these with eh money we wasted buying cheaper ones.

I bought this shredder to replace my old Fellowes strip cut shredder that was still working after many years because I wanted a cross cut shredder. This shredder is a good value for the money and works beautifully. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because I was disappointed that the waste basket was so small (6 gallons) and I would have liked it to be bigger which could have been accomplished by the manufacturer making it a little taller.

I truly put this shredder through its advertised abilities. Papers of all sizes, weights and shapes, staples and credit cards. It's taken paper in that seemed to jam and the auto-reverse pushed it out and pulled it back down, shredding every bit of it. The slot, I think, prevents from anyone pushing too much paper through and, if that's the reason, I think it's a good thing. Yes, it stops when it gets hots; however, it doesn't stay off too long and it is a good time to take a break from shredding when it does. This is one shredder that is well worth the money. I'd love this shredder if they made it as a micro-shredder; however, this cross-cut shredder is great. It does what it says it does ... over and over again. I love it!
