Never leave home without it!, 12/16/2008
Had to drive to New York City for a funeral and hadn't been back since I was 13 years old. I have AAA and printed off a Trip Kit, but when I spoke to my fiance about the drive, he said "we need to buy one of those GPS's". We went right to Wal-mart and asked the salesman which was the best for the money (without spending a fortune). He recommended this model. We spent more than what it's going for right now, but we got to New York and then back home, safe and sound.

The unit is very easy to use, and givess turn by turn directions. It also has a huge bonus - it has an option of showing you what is in the area, ie: restaurants, shopping, hotels, amusement rides, just about anything you want to see or do.

The colors are vibrant and the easy to see and read. I highly recommend this item!!!

Great Product!, 07/02/2009
This was my first GPS and I found a winner. Took it to West Virgina for my first trip in the hills and it worked. It helped me find gas stations, places to eat and it took me right to my hotel. If you do any traveling at all I suggest that you get a Garmin. It was very easy to set up. The only thing about the Garmin is it didn't come with a USB cable and you need one to update the unit. I read the reviews before I bought it so I knew inadvance that I needed the cable. This unit is a good deal for the money.

Great product, 12/04/2008
I bought this GPS for my husband last Christmas because we travel out of state a couple times a year. I never realized we would use this around home too. It is great. I have had to drive to places I wasn't familiar with by myself. With the GPS, you get all the correct directions and you don't feel like you are alone. If you make a wrong turn, the GPS recaluates your directions. It is awesome. A great product and a great price.

Great Product, 07/31/2009
Used the Garmin for the first time to find location of a gravesite funeral. Interstate was blocked and I had to take a detour where I had never been before and it got me there just minutes before the start of the funeral. If I had not had the Garmin, I would not have made it to my best friends Mother's funeral. It was easy to enter the required information to find the location. It was helpful and dependable! It was also reasonably priced.
