We did alot of research before we bought a camcorder and we definitely chose the right one. The quality is great, and there is no storage media to mess around with. We upload everything to our computer and if we want, burn them onto DVD's. So easy to use!

Easy to both use and transfer to computer, and decent battery life (so far). Good average item for the parent who wants to tape the big moments but doesn't walk around with it permanently attached to its eye. We are the target audience for this product: kids, events, and far-flung family who would like to see it. Really easy to transfer to computer.

I did enjoy the simplicity of having a two in one camera. However, the still picture do leave something to be desired. The movies seemed okay and easy (once I figured it out) how to transfer to a dvd burner. I returned the product because it just did not fulfill my desires. It is convient for a vacation if your not that worried about still picture quality.

This camcorder is extremely easy to use right out of the box. The 30gb hard disk drive is plenty large enough for me. It records 7 hours at the finest quality. Downloading to my computer is a snap. It downloads in just a few minutes. So much easier than w/ a mini dvd recorder.
I wish it had image stabilizer. Use a tripod if you're recording something special. However, the included software allows very easy editing and will stabilize the image. I really enjoy it and the price is great.

I jumped to this product from a HI8 tape video cam.
The hard drive gives a resulting clarity and definition
which is a pleasant surprise. My only reason for
not giving it 5 stars is the unknown future reliability and the searching I had to do for the controls to effect certain operations. I was a little spooked by the aspect ratio...on the 16:9 setting people looked taller and skinnier than they are. I have not yet reviewed the online instruction movie, bit I will. That would have probably helped, but I missed the announcement of its availability. At this point I have filmed only two 15 min video sequences and one still pic.

I purchased this camcorder after the birth of our daughter. It's easy to use right out of the box and has great clarity. The still photos are a bit off but 1) that's why I have a digital camera and 2) I'm trying to photograph a little one that's crawling all over the place! The price can't be beat. Great purchase!!

I love this camera......absolutely love it!! I try to use it every chance I get since I've had it. The vid quality is excellent.....the still image quality is excellent, as long as you're able to hold the camera still. LOL

This was an awesome camera for the price. I recently purchased this camera for my first baby coming in August. I wanted something inexpensive but with good picture. I had been looking for that "great deal" on a camcorder and believe I found it in this one. The camera is really easy to use and the video quality is great, with a good light source. This camera is similar to the GZ-MG330. The 330 has 7X more zoom, a light, a lanyard and a remote. If those features are not important to you, than save a few shekels and opt for this one. The still camera on this is mediocre, however.

This is a very basic camcorder. I just wanted one for around the house. You can make movies in low light but the color is really washed out. I think that the more that you pay, the better the quality of picture and color. I got what I expected.
