It's ok but first you have to make sure you get the disc's. There are some dis's that are just missing the lead singer while some acually start sing until you join in. I have a lot that are just missing the lead siner and I guess I don't know the songs as well as I thought. Over all it works but it gets boring in a hurry

This is a great machine for small room karaoke. However, the sound is not loud enough for large places. There is an "out" for adding additional speakers, so in that way it's an excellent sound system for the money. It includes a cassette and CD which is not always included in new karaoke machines. We use ours for the children's choir practice room at church. It's portable and easy bring with us when we perform.

I bought this karaoke machine for my 5 year old daughter and she sings her little heart out every day. I am very glad that I chose this particular product and the other reviews helped me to make my decision. My daughter invited her friends over for her birthday party and I could not keep them interested in the other activities that I had planned for them because they were too busy running back to the karaoke machine trying to be the next american idol. The sound quality is excelent and I highy recommend this product.

I got this singing machine for my daughters 4th birthday, the night before the party I decided to make sure it worked and to my surprise the CD player would not work on it!! This upset me very much because there was noway I could get another one for her party, this was all she wanted. If you're going to take a chance with this machine I would recommend you order it with plenty of time to make sure everything works before giving it as a gift.

This is a machine that you have to have. Easy to use and get to the singing quickly. What a crowd pleaser. For the young to old. You have to have this. Lots of options that aren't found on others. get this one today. Great product for a reasonable price.

This karaoke machine is a good buy. The first one I got I had to send back because the screen rolled like old black and white TVs. But the second one works fine. My six year old is a star now. The only thing it's lacking is an MP3 hook up but if you have a way to run it through the radio you can still play it on there. Great buy!

The Kids love it!!, 12/28/2008

Works exactly as stated. The kids LOVE seeing themselves on the TV or on the Karaoke machine! My kids are 5,5,5 and 8, and were thrilled with the all Christmas music CD&G disc that came with the machine. The other two (actually there are four discs total, with one being a shorter demo disc and three full discs) are mix CD&G's with a variety of songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and a couple of recent hits. The camera could be clearer, but we've found the angle of the camera and bright room lighting make a big difference. Two children can be seen on the screen at the same time if they stay close together. And we bought the second mic at Wal-Mart for under $10. This is definitely the machine to buy! My shy 8 year old is even loving it because of the camera, and she wouldn't go near one of these before!
