Great deal on a closeout, 01/04/2009

These Twin Pro-S Henckel knives are always expensive but were a great value at Walmart. The high quality of Twin Henckel knives is known the world over. The Twin has the two little men side by side, the other Henckel knives such as International are good but not exceptional. This set also comes with the Twin Pro-S steak knives and not the Gourmet knives the smaller set comes with. The box was crushed at the store pick-up but that was expected as Walmart bought them in a closeout from Williams Sonoma and passed the deal on to us. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I have had the same cheap block of cutlery for a decade. Until I tried these knives I had no idea I was using blunt utensils. No wonder it was so hard to cut through raw veggies. Duh!
This knife set cost a fortune but it is well worth it...this is coming from someone usually very frugal. I hope to have this set the rest of my life.

These knives are amazing, and we actually returned the 9 piece set we bought from another department store for $399 to get the full, 23 piece set here! Yes, these are the "Twin" Pro-S series, and this set retails for ~$999 at other stores! Amazing deal, and free site to store shipping; you can't be WalMart, we absolutely love this set!
