Lovely Glider...exceeded my expectations! I absolutely love the fabric and it is very comfortable. Perfect for my nursery. HOWEVER, the Newco Gliding Ottoman in beige is a COMPLETELY different fabric. The colors blend well but they are still noticeably different.

Just got the chair home and so far so good. It's very comfortable. It rock/glides and swivels from side to side. Color is perfect and material is nice enough. It fits in the room nicely (using in nursery) and looks attractive. It can easily move to any room in the house when it is no longer needed for rocking and reading to children. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, though it did take quite a while for it to arrive at the store for pickup. Ordered 08/13/09 - available for pick up on 09/03/09.

I ordered two of these chairs. They are extremely comfortable and well constructed. Tall people might find them a little low to the ground, or might consider ordering a foot rest or ottoman. I scotchguarded them prior to ever using, because we have a pet. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

Ordering a chair sight unseen was something I had never done and I was quite nervous about it. However I had lowered my expectations so I wouldn't be too disappointed.
What a pleasant surprise to get something that looks quite a bit nicer than anyone would think for the price. Really quite a value.
The fabric had a softer, fuzzier feel than you might think from the photo. And the color was slightly darker than the web photo on all the different monitors I tried. But more than close enough unless you really need something specific.
The best part is that it is (as stated in the dimensions) slightly smaller and lower than the $1200 versions, so its perfect for my smaller living room. Plus that little smidge lower seat means I can have my feet touch the floor while rocking or gliding. Something that wasn't comfy on other chairs. And I'm just around average at 5'4.
The seat cushions are slip covered which is a nice bonus.
The only downside so far is that I'm having trouble getting a turn to sit in it!
