Creative Zen 4GB EF MP3 Video Player w/ Bonus Clear Keychain Case, Red

This is my first mp3. I had been wanting one for a long time, but figured I was too tech challenged to learn how to use one. I did my research for awhile and decided on a Zen. I'm using mine mostly for podcasts and audio books...not music. Everything was easy to learn! And I use it all the time. I LOVE the bookmark feature on it. (One of the reasons I chose this instead of ipod.) A real PLUS! I live in a rural area and the radio does not work very well or maybe it is just that way. That was kind of disappointing. I think the podcasts look better on this Zen than I've seen on relatives much more expensive players. I chose this Zen over the other Zens because it was red and another reviewer said they liked the key chain case (kept everything handy). But I really do not like the case, I thought it was a gel case. It is actually hard plastic. I can see that it is going to scratch up quickly and it makes the player heavier. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and I believe it is a good value and a quality product.

This item has all the features I could want at a great price. Very easy to use, nice bright screen, great menu options, great sound, and durable body. The extra card slot is great for extra music storage. The clear case that came with it seems very durable and protective and is easy to use once you get the hang of the fact that it slides open instead of popping open. However, I unfortunately had way too many buggy issues with mine and will be sending it back to get a new one (which will hopefully work better). The battery only lasts about 8 hours. On a full charge it would last about 7 hours and show it still had half a charge left but then suddenly be dead within the next half hour or so. It has done that since day one although I charged it completely as soon as I received it before using it. At first, it would also freeze and have to be reset with a pin but it seems to have stopped doing that. Also, when turning it on the screen will be too bright like the brightness is at 100% when that is not how I had it set. I would restart it and when it restarted it will be back at the correct brightness. This all happens without me messing with the brightness of it at all the whole time. The device will not play any of the files on the additional card I have in the card slot. I have tried several cards to no avail. The player would not play any of my Itunes files so I had to convert them. I was under the impression that it was able to play them, but perhaps I was mistaken about that part.
Hopefully the replacement will work properly because the design of this player is great and the sound is one of the best I have heard. I would have given it 5 stars if everything worked properly.

This is a wonderful little MP3 player! My 11 year old daughter bought this with her savings and it was well worth it. I did a lot of research and even bought another and returned it before settling on this one. I love it becasue it included the protective case so nothing else had to be purchased. The best part - I can set the volume limit with a password so she can't blast her ear drums out! What more can a mother want? She's tickled pink with it and I'm happy. It does an amazing amount of things, keep reading the reviews as someone lists out a large list of pros and cons which goes over all the things it can do. It has a calendar/organizer which is another thing my daugter loves. We highly recommend this product for it's capabilities and ease of use. Also the case has a ring clip so she can clip it to her belt loop or inside her purse so she won't lose it as easily.

This is the first MP3 player I've ever had. I picked it after comparing features and prices. Very easy to use and the sound is very good. I love the keychain holder. I wear it on a sturdy necklace and it keeps everything where I can easily reach it. So far, so pleased.

i really like this product. it was easy to dowload system and easy to transfer music to. i have already dowloaded 240 songs at only one setting, and i still have lots of room left. the instructions weren't too clear as to finding songs, but once i got started, i could figure out it on my own. also, one thing i would change is that i would like the usb cable to be longer. my mp3 player just dangles when i connect it to my computer

It was worth the money! I have had my products for weeks now and it hasn't frozen up, as some of the other reviewers claimed. I product was worth the money and you get way more thatn you pay for !!!!!

Everything outstanding the only thing I had a problem with was my headphone jack didn't get a good connection with the case on.

This MP3 played is menu driven, even a 53 year old can operate it. The display is very clear and the sound is great. Love the keychain case.

This product is full of applications! I just downloaded an album, and it was very seamless. The sound quality that came from the little headphones was really astounding!
