I shopped MP3 players A LOT before I bought one and I selected this one for several reasons. One, the cost was very reasonable, and, two, it had the features I was looking for (decent screen for viewing pictures and videos, long battery life, large and expandible memory, audiobook compatability, included case). I had read a few bad reviews, so I was a little cautious, but the good reviews outweighed the bad ones, so I went ahead and made the purchase. I have NEVER regretted my purchase of this MP3. I have NEVER run the battery down, though I have taken it on several camping trips where I couldn't charge it for a few days. The case works great and protects it very well. The headphones are conforable and have great sound volume and quality. One feature I really like is the fact you can create bookmarks on your audio so that you can come back to a certain spot. I listen to a lot of long audiobooks and sermons, so the bookmark feature allows me to go directly back to where I left off, rather than fast fowarding through an hour-long track until I find the place. TWO THUMBS UP FOR CREATIVE ZEN! I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND IT!

I look for a long time into getting a player that was NOT an IPOD ( for i had one once) and didn't want to pay to much for it. I wanted a player that i could put books on to listen in my long comute back and forth to work. THIS WAS IT!! this is an wonderful product, easy to use and very easy to up load books, movies, tv shows and of course music. I would and have recondmended the ZEN to anyone of anyage.

Let's all add this up? Zen $75.00 + 16 gig SD card $40.00 = 20 gig MP3/video player $115.00. So far I have loaded 1158 songs, 34 wma videos & 900 pics on it and it still has plenty more room on it (with the 16 gig sd card). Loading it was simple, I had no problems. I like the menu on it and really liked that I can have my own wallpaper. I own an Ipod nano but I was limited to what I could do with it. Unless you buy from Itunes videos are almost impossible to put on the nano. The Zen I haven't found anything I cannot load onto it. I find it kind of wierd that for $9.00 more Walmart is selling the same player without the clear case? There is one complaint, the cable that comes with it is about 5 inches long, thats the dumbest thing they did. I had the unit hanging off of my tower by the cable while I was downloading. If you want a player with all upsides and little downs, this is the one.

Very happy with this product. There are only 2 minor complaints. First, you have tor re-format all video (TV, Movie, Music Video) to WMV format to play. Second, you cannot have audiobooks and music files stored in the same Music Folder. The music will play all chopped up, but the books will play fine. Maybe this is due to not using the Audible download store, and just transferring my own MP3 formatted books? Battery life is not as good as advertised, I only get about 3 hours worth of solid playtime before it needs charging. Another annoyance is the cost of a AC adapter, Creative sells one for 34.95 before tax and shipping. But price is King with this product, a comparable Ipod is 129.00, a better choice would be the GO brand model that sells for 69.00, but no ports for add on memory. And before someone asks, I have a daughter who is 8 and has gone through 4 off brand MP3 players becuase I don't like Apple products or Itunes.

I read the reviews and I know a lot of folks have had problems with this little gadget, but I love it. I've had Creative mp3 players before and this one takes the cake. The program CD that comes with it is a little funky to figure out, so I just sync with Media Player and it works just fine. Also love that I can add a SD card to put more music than the 4GB internal will hold, which is great for me because I love my music! Also love the clear case/keychain cover that comes with it; clips onto my belt loop and works like a charm to protect my new gadget! If you want an inexpensive mp3 player that's easy to figure out and don't want to deal with the hassle of iTunes, this is for you!

gr8 product! not the first creative product and not disappointed at all. My kids have ipods and zune products that dont hold a candle to this product. The screen is a gr8 size and very clear. Sounds are excellent. Easy downloads. handy clip case, acceptable earphones. Bought it for the husband for his b-day. He has used it everyday since. Happy! Happy! Happy!

I am on my second Zen due to the fact that the first one blew up on me 3 days after I bought it. Not sure what happened but it snapped and died. I returned it to the store, who returned my money and I re-ordered the same one. So far it has been a super little player. I loaded a ton of songs, some photos and a short video and still have lots of room to spare. My daughter liked it so much she went and got one for herself.

I have 5 MP3 products and this is my best yet...a fabulous product because of the SD card allowing huge storage and the photos are clear as the screen is large enough for viewing but small enough to fit in my purse...the methods for switching around and the options button work great. I have tried many products and find this is truly a great value for the money. I carry it everywhere and listen to music, look at my photos, download radio talk shows to listen to at my leisure PLUS will be adding videos from my camera. WOW!

I was looking for a MP3 player to download audiobooks to. This is perfect! The only complaint I have, is that for us over 50 crowd the instructions that come with it are sketchy at best....You really have to know how these things operate to use it....had to have a younger person show me how it worked.

The Zen , now that I have had much help learning how to work it, is o.k. The instructions were very very poor, almost none. Maybe if I was a teenager I would have been able to figure it out. I am a senior and not up on all this hi teck stuff.

I've only had my Zen about 2 weeks, but I am really enjoying it. Very user friendly, great sound and it has plenty of room for my music. Really was plug and play easy. I was able to download all my music from my iTunes with no problem at all. I am using the key chain case and really appreciate everyone who advised new users that it slides open.

This is the first Zen MP3 player I have purchased, and the best so far. Very easy to use and navigate. Love everything. Even has a calendar & contacts area, which is great. I purchased a 16 GB memory card, so I have all my music and audiobooks in one place with room to spare, and didn't have to pay the extra for a MP3 player with the high GBs. Has a slide show option. Plastic case is great, as I have already dropped it, and no sweat. The case didn't crack, just popped open.
