My daughter recently had a baby and one of the gift's she received was a Baby Trend Expedition Travel System (car seat/baby carrier & stroller). The baby carrier doubles as a car seat and locks into a car seat base. Rather than me buying a car seat and a baby carrier I purchased the base so I can keep it in my car and use her baby carrier as needed. The base works perfectly with her carrier.

We bought this base so that we can easily tranport our new granddaughter using her Baby Trend car seat when necessary. This base clips easily into the car's latch connectors and the compatible car seat snaps easily into this base. This base will also be compatible with Baby Trend car seats for toddlers.

We ordered this additional base for my parents car so that they are able to come and go with the baby without having to hassle with the seat belt. The base fits great in the back of their SUV and was easy to install. The additional anchors make the base feel tight and secure.

I purchased this base for my mother in law so we didn't have to switch out bases every time she was going to take my son somewhere. I was a little leery the base wouldn't fit the car seat as I wasn't sure when it was made or the exact model. I was pleasently surprised at how fast we recieved it (I went with the cheapest shipping option) and that it fit the car seat perfectly. I highly recommend buying this if you have a Baby Trend car seat and need an extra base.

We have a new grandbaby and when the decision was made on the Baby Trend car seat, we knew we'd need extra bases for the grand parent's vehicles. The included LATCH fasteners for cars with this anchor system are very secure and allow minimal movement of the car seat base. Using the seat belt has much more movement. I also like the ability to adjust the tilt of the base as well (although a bit cumbersome).
My biggest complaint is when the base is anchored the rear facing infant seat is so close to the seat back of my automobile it is difficult to reach the car seat release/latch.

I researched through the web to find first compatibility with baby trend carseat my daughter just purchased. I would recommend you add this tidbit to your info. Baby trend states all their seat bases are compatible with any baby trend carseat purchased. Walmart beat Amazon.com and Baby trend website price! Plus the ship to store is very nice. Thank you. I really appreciate Walmart being in our small community.

The base is okay. It's a car seat base, not much to say. Only thing I did have an issue was moving the gray base balance portion up or down. It was difficult to move and I had to use a little elbow grease to do so.

We got this car seat base so that it would be easier for us to take our grandson with us and not have to worry about getting the base from our daughter's car each time. It makes it nice because I just leave the base in my truck and then when we want to take him with us we just snap his car seat right into the base and we're ready to go.

I needed another base so me and my significant other each had one. Walmart had them online just like all other stores, only Babies r' us stocks them in store but at much higher cost, why pay more when you can have it shipped to store for free by walmart!
