I bought this hoop for our young kids, just for fun. It did take some time to put together, but no more than I expected. Everything is of good quality and it works fine. It seems to be a good value when compared to other sytems of this type.

I tried water to hold it down. Not heavy enough. Then I put in 360 lbs. of sand. It was not the base that was moving. It was the pole and back board. Wish I would have dug a hole and planted it. Also the backboard is too small.

Overall, this is a decent product. It was not hard to build as long as you had a second person for certain parts. Downside - The product does shake somewhat when the ball hits the backboard which is 100% made of plastic (including the frame). Upside - It very easy to raise and lower the basket.

I was a little skeptical about this product because several other reviewers suggested that it was rather difficult to assemble. We had no such problems, so I was extremely pleased. The kids love it, and my youngest son plays on it every day. The height adjustment mechanism is fantastic, and for the money, the quality of the product is unsurpassed. We actually had the opportunity to test the shatter resistence of the the backboard, and I was impressed at its resilience. I'd pulled it down to put in more sand, stood it back up (off track) and it fell down onto a concrete sidewalk overnight. The backboard remained intact -- no problems. I would strongly recommend this goal to others.

Having put up at least two other basketball goals in my time I was eager to see if there were any changes to the systems. The adjuster for the rim was fantastic. It was so easy to use. Actually the whole kit was pretty easy to put together. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY and you shouldn't have a problem. I was left with two hex nuts that didn't seem to go to anything. That's pretty good considering the first time I put one together I had a whole bag of bolts left... Go Figure.

This product is perfect for the money. Site to Store shipping for free was great! Setup took about 3 hours but was not as complicated as some other reviews stated, and I am no mechanical wizard! Very, very pleased overall. 5 stars!

Yup it is hard to assemble - especially the step that ties the base to the post! Not sure if it helps any with two people working (only a couple of steps require more than one person). Once setup, it is a real nice unit. Easy to adjust height; easy to maneuver. My 9-year old son started using it right away; its getting action every day for the past two weeks.

this is a very good product. it definitely needs two people to put together. It still took us about two hours or so to put together, but it was easy enough. I definietly recommend this portable goal!

Ok, I hope that you have an inner engineer when it comes to assembly. Plan to be patient and take your time. This product is not easy to assemble, however once you have it all together properly, it is so easy to use. I LOVE the one handed adjustment to raise and lower. My 8 and 10 year old can do it on their own. A side note, everyone complains about the glare from the sun off the backboard. Maybe wish they had a tinted screen on it. Overall, I recommend it due to the finished product, be prepared to take at least three hours to assemble.

I think this goal is a good value. It looks great and is easy to use. The only problem was the assembly. The directions were not clear, and it was missing several pieces of hardware. So, prepare for a trip to the hardware store!

The basketball ball hoop was fairly easy to assemble. My husband did it in one afternoon by himself. I love the fact that the hoop can be raised or lowered with one hand to be adjusted. We haven't had much of a chance to use the hoop because of weather but we did try it out and were happy with it.
