I really only bought this CD because it had the added Christmas Tracks. You can not get them anywhere else, not Itunes or Walmart mp3's online. All in All, good cd!

I bought this album last year, but bought it again this year for the bonus Christmas EP. The songs on it are just amazing and Carrie's covers are easily the best these songs have ever had. The album Carnival Ride is great too. I enjoy it alot better than her first album, despite it being more country than her first one. I'm not really a country music fan, but loved her music for it's pop-sound, similar to Faith Hill and Shania Twain.

I first purchased Carnival Ride on its original release date last year, and when I heard it was being re-released with Christmas songs, I just had to buy it again. Whether you already own Carnival Ride or if you're a newcomer, you NEED to go out and buy this special edition album. This CD is full of amazing music and currently has four #1 singles and counting. Each song tells a story and Carrie's powerful vocals are simply incredible. Now for the Christmas disc. First of all, Carrie's song selection was perfect. Her songs celebrate the true meaning of Christmas in the birth of Christ. She chose some of the all-time great Christmas classics that suit her angelic voice perfectly. Once again, she proves that she has one of the most beautiful voices in the business. She delivers an incredible performance in each song and I can't wait until she releases a complete, standalone Christmas album.

When I heard that Carnival Ride was going to be re-released with a bonus Christmas Cd, I had to go out and buy it...and I was NOT disappointed! I'm a big fan of classic Christmas songs and Carrie Underwood does these songs justice, I just wish she would've recorded more! The musical arrangements give a bit of a new twist to some of the songs, and her voice is that of an angel. The bonus Cd will definitely see a lot of playtime come the holiday season. Heck, I play it a lot now and Thanksgiving is still 3 weeks away!

Carrie does a wonderful job with these Christmas songs but more than that I like the song choices she has made here. There are basically two types of Christmas songs. There are the songs that celebrate the celebration like Nat King Coles tune The Christmas Song and then there are songs that celebrate the birth of Christ. Carrie's choices here represent the latter. Well done.

"Carnival Ride" is an AWESOME album! The Christmas Bonus CD with 5 extra songs is GREAT! Carrie Underwood has an AMAZING voice. This album is a must buy. The album would make a great Christmas gift.
