Performing double duty as an HDTV and PC monitor, the AOC Envision 19'' LCD HDTV offers a great value. The tuner can receive conventional analog channels (NTSC), as well as digital channels (ATSC), including over-the-air HDTV broadcasts where available and unscrambled digital cable channels. Plus, the AOC Envision 19'' LCD HDTV features a variety of inputs, making it simple to connect DVD players, camcorders, digital cameras, or even a computer. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than that of a standard-definition TV. Please contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade to HD programming.

I worked all summer babysitting to buy myself a flatscreen and a new monitor for my dinosaur, so obviously, I did my research. If the product could do both? Bonus points (: I scoured the web, and when I found this product it was like manna from heaven! I've had it for a few weeks now and love it. It just blends flawlessly in with my decor, and I love the high-end look it has. I got this for about $185 with tax, and a better sum of money I've never spent. I use it in my room as a monitor and personal television. The sound is as good as anything I've heard from this size tv, and the picture quality is way up there too. I would absolutely buy it again!!

you could buy the cheapest transitor radio from 1968 and the sound would be better than this tv. crank up the bass, take off the treble, put a stocking hat on... makes it alittle better. on the plus sides: great features,good viewing angle ,unheard of price and it looks good.{the cabinet is very fragile to scratches,be carefull unpacking and cleaning} for a low cost tv that we are only going to use on weekends...for digital picture playback and the 2 channels we get, seems like a good buy. luv u wally

Nice picture and features, very easy to switch from viewing tv to using laptop and visa versa. Speakers are very tinny sounding but can easily solved by purchasing the $25 Altec Lansing computer speakers with bass box and plugging into headphone jack, if you do that you have a tv which sounds as good as one for three times the $$. Would highly recommend purchasing the exterior speakers if you like deep bass and theater sounding television.

Nice to be a HDTV and PC...I have a tv on cable not HD, but mostly this model is a great PC monitor. Have watched movies directly on computer and enjoy videos, etc. I don't have a powerful HD antenna but it picks up a few extra local channels. I'm very pleased.

I have a small office/guest room. This TV was the perfect size. I mounted it on the wall so that it was easily seen while sitting in the desk chair or lying on the sofa sleeper. It has a great picture and although the sound is not "large", it is perfect for the space.

Reviewed other Tv's at a higher price and when looked at reviews, took a hard look at this product. It's a bargain, as that it can be used as a PC monitor or a TV. With the digital tuner for antenna use , you can't go wrong. Placed it this weekend outside attached to a wall mount to watch NFL football, great picture! Yes, others have said sound from the little speakers are a little tinny , but what do you expect from these TV speakers? I have a 37" Samsung TV and the sound is the same! If you want better sound , output sound to a stereo or amp. Good product. Other Tv's at this size cost more , but why pay it?

I wasn't expecting a whole lot in ordering this tv, but the reviews were good and the price was right so I went for it. Yea it's not huge, but it's the perfect size for my small bedroom. I have had no issues with sound or picture quality, both have worked just fine for me. Set up was super simple, I'm not technologically inclined at all and I had no problem. I would definitely recommend this, really a great value.

Although the picture was excellent, we found the sound quality to be extremely poor. The best way to describe it was "tinny" lacking depth of sound. There were easy adjustments to be made, but none that made us pleased enough to keep it! It WAS however a really good value pricewise. We returned it to our local Walmart & for $10 more obtained a different one that we LOVE!!

I have had heard no Complaints from my Daughter, she has been using it for two weeks so far. I brought for her Dorm Room. The Picture Quality was shockingly sharp, crisp and clear once I brought a Video antennae cable and connected to the Dorm Cable system. The Only Suggestion I would make is to include a TV/Cable Video Cable. It only comes with a VGA Cable to connect it to a PC, but does not come with Antennae Cable so you can connect it to Cable or any other video source, which makes you think it is being marketed as a PC Monitor and ignoring the fact that it is a Television as well.

Bought this TV for my bedroom. Very pleased with the picture. It takes to long to change channels but that may be my cable connection. The sound was not great so I hooked up my small Bose speakers and now it is super. Love being able to use it as a monitor for my laptop.
