this series is great. even if you dont have showtime (which i dont) i got addicted to this show. if you love history its amazing, and very much historically accurate, plus its got the twist of romance and suspense, even though you pretty much know whats going to happen if you've ever studied the time period. regardless, its amazing, and you should watch it!

Season 2 is by far the best. I missed Ann Boleyn in Season 3. And can't wait for Season 4 to start. JRM does a great job as Henry VIII. I was never a fan of this time period but this series definitely got me hooked!

The second season was a tribute to the first, it continued with great acting, scenery an explosive scenes that portrayed the various lives of the characters. It can appear to be very brutal against women when the King takes advantage of them because of his position of king.

This is a must have if you have season 1. The Tudors, all though not historically accurate, is beautifully done & hard to leave once you start watching. A great buy.

The 2nd Season of the Showtime series "The Tudors" is just as good and, I'd say, even better than the first season. Prior to purchase I'd encourage you to view the complete 1st season (10 1-hour episodes) as the story will not have the proper impact without building the history. The actors are superb and the costumes and scenery are magnificant...very true to life! This series gets my highest praise!
