Love this Garmin GPS! It was easy to set up and use right out of the box. The directions were very easy to follow and it's fun to use even if you know where you're going. I've had a navigation system in my car and I prefer this Garmin 265 over the built in system. It's easier to use and you can take it with you. I would suggest buying the adapter so you can charge it at an outlet in your home. I ordered this from Wal-Mart.com the week before Christmas and was happily surprised when I received it 2 days later. Great service and a great product!

Got this for my technologically challenged parents - even they could use it with little difficulties. Everything touch screen and user friendly interfaces. Some businesses which I thought would be listed were not but that's to be expected in an ever changing world. Unsure of how to update the software at this point - I'm sure I can figure it out if I need to. Good product / fair price.

This is one of the best valued GPS systems available. The larger 4.3" is much better than the small 3.5" screens, giving you much more room to view map detail. Spoken street names are a big help, you can keep your eyes on the road. Ad-support traffic receiver means traffic with no service fees, and the ads are barely noticeable. Excellent points of interest database. Bluetooth is a nice extra, but handsfree sound quality could be a little better. Also, the speaker is on the back of this GPS, and sometimes the spoken directions will distort a little if you have the volume all the way up. But you need to pay an extra $200 to get the equivalent Garmin model with FM transmitter! This GPS is feature packed and a great value.
I took off 1 star for the poor speaker audio quality and so-so bluetooth handsfree quality. I maybe would have only taken off 1/2 star if I had the option.

The product is very imformative, i like the performace of it, works well. The one fault is the battery, the charge does not last over 2hrs. the directions say the charge should last for at least 7hrs. Could you help me with the removal of the battery, and send me a new one to replace this defective one?

This Garmin device performs perfectly as a GPS device. However, the bluetooth function is NOT compatible with the iPhone. The Garmin website shows the iPhone to be compatible. This can be disappointing if this device is purchased depending on bluetooth operation with iPhone.

I got this for Christmas and have only used it a few times. The unit took me right to the doorstep. It is really simple to use and is the reason the directions are not extensive. If you purchase this item you will need a case and an AC charger which is sold seperately. I'm going to look for another case to put the components into because you have the GPS and it's case, both chargers, USB cable and vehical mounts.

I had a garmin Nuvi 360 that was purchased last year and had performed fine until last month. Called Garmin and they had me send it in to be looked at. Thinking they would charge an arm and a leg to fix it I ordered this new wide screen model with lifetime traffic. What a difference!! The 265tw locks up to the satellites much quicker than the 360. The voice prompts are clearer and the screen is easier to read while driving. Quite ironically the 360 showed up on our door repaired at no charge the same day the 265 landed. I am keeping them both!

Price of 265WT is lowest of all units with free lifetime traffic; on sale, even better. Living in metropolitan Philadelphia area, traffic feature worked great right out of the box here. I can't comment on Bluetooth function which I don't use. Routing accuracy is very good -- not perfect. I had tried another brand with free traffic. It cost more, offered some additional features, but failed more than it worked. My recommendation -- stick with Garmon. It's number one for good reason.
