Highly recommended sewing machine. I like its features "stitches" so easy to follow with just a click of of its dial. If you are a beginner included in the package a DVD product brochure. I wanted a sewing machine for a long time but could not afford one, then one day I just decided to price one, and since Walmart is my store I checked there first. I could not believe it, $79.00 for a sewing machine wow!!!! I bought the machine and have been using it ever since, drapes, bed skirt, cushions. I just love it, very simple to operate, the DVD shows how to use and clean etc, that made it even better, than trying to figure out the booklet.

this is the first brand new sewing machine i have ever had, i got it on sale for 50 bucks. I was pleasently surprised with it. It sews everything except 3 layers of jeans,....but other than that, I make all my clothes with this bad boy, and its great for beginners or people that have sewn for their whole lives. of course next to my mothers 4000 dollar jenome computerized sewing machine this looks cheap, but its great! the dvd is ver helpful as well. I suggest you make sure to keep up with maintenecing it though, as it semlls like plastic if you dont oil it after every 3 hours of use like the manual says. Love it, buys it deffinetly!

I recently got into cosplay and therefore needed a reasonably priced starter sewing machine. This machine is it! I was a bit intimidated at first, but the enclosed DVD gives very simple step by step instructions, on how to get started. Because this is a basic machine, I wouldn't recommend it to seasoned sewers, but for noobs like me, it's a god send.

There is a DVD and instruction booklet included - both are extremely helpful when learning how to thread and operate the machine. I have owned several machines and this one is the worst i have ever had. Doesn't run well and is very loud. I sewed 2 4x4 squares on it and it went back in the box and back to the store that same day. I wouldn't recoment it.

I think this sewing machine is great. It does all the basic things you need it to do hem pants, buttons, and zippers. If you do not want to spend a lot of money, this machine is for you. I love this machine and I am so happy I bought it. The money was right for it. I use it every day for apparel, home decor, quilts, purses, and mending projects. If you have difficulty with this machine read the manual, the only issues I have ever had were due to my own errors with bobbin and thread tension or improper threading.

I bought this when my Singer of 35 years finally gave up the ghost. I guess if I had bought comparable to what I had, I would have more substantial and be able to adjust the presser foot! But when you start at the edge of the fabric, the presser foot is so tight that the fabric doesn't move along. Very frustrating. This machine will do for small projects, but I wouldn't want to use it for anything complicated. By the way, I got it for my birthday a few months ago, and if I had used it right away, I would have returned it right away!

I was given this machine as a gift from my mother. I've had it for 3 years and couldn't be happier. It's great for what I can do at the moment, which is basic sewing. It's a great machine to learn the ropes and practice your skills. I've yet to have a problem and everything worked fine straight from the box aside from the usual personal adjustments. The directions were a little vague, but that would be my only real complaint. I'm sure I'll move on to a bigger and more complex machine down the road, but for now this one works great for me.
