This was my 4-year-olds Birthday present and he only wanted the Spider-man model, so I looked at every Wal-mart in my area and didn't find any in the right size. I bought it online and my husband put it together, that may have been the first problem :) Regardless, the wheels need to be taken off and adjusted and it doesn't ride very well. It smells awful, like burnt rubber, it stinks up the garage, but whatever. I'm hoping we can fix it, because my little guy is anxious to ride it. I would recommend buying it pre-assembled at the store and skip the human-error of putting it together yourself.

I bought this bike for my 3 yr old grandson, my husband put it together very quickly and my grandson which absolutly loves spiderman was thrilled with his new bike, I also purchased the spiderman helmet which matched perfectly with this bicycle.

My Grandson just loves this bike and I am still waiting on a pic from Daughter but i am sure it will come after christmas. The site to store was so easy and took no time to do. I will be using this more often. My daughter took my short grandson to her local walmart and tried out several bikes before she found this one that fit him perfectly. Now she picked it up and he is happy! Thanks Walmart!

We bought two of these bikes for our twin grandsons. My husband built the bikes but when he turned the pedals to test them there was an awful clunking noise every time the pedal made a full turn. Several times the pedals seized up. Challenged by this dilemma, my husband took the crank apart and located the ball bearings. Of the 6 balls inside, 3 of them were flat on one end. He went to a bike shop and purchased new balls, put them in the crank, greased everything and closed it up. This resolved the problem and the bikes now pedal smoothly. If you are not mechanically inclined this product might be a problem.

My son got this for his 3rd birthday. It was the perfect size for him and he was very excited to ride it. However, he wasn't able to pedal this bike at all. I ended up having to push him around on the darn thing. He is 4 now and still can't pedal this bike.

My twins got these bikes for Christmas when they were 4. There feet reached the pedals, but didn't reach the entire peddle span until they were 5 1/2. They rode the bikes like crazy for about a year (Texas weather permitting) but I had to inflate tires and replace training wheels often. At 6 1/2 their knees practically hit their chins when peddling, even with the seat all the way up. Happened to my daughter with the Disney bike, so not sure if this age is just hard to transition because of varying sizes and motor skills? Or, if the wheels and seat just aren't well positioned on this bike.

My 3.5 year old likes this bike. But I am not crazy about how it has held up. He knows how to ride a bike and puts a lot of use on it, but over just a few months the training wheels seem worn down and the tires keep deflating. We have the fold up radio flyer bike that he has had for two years now, and was a hand me down, and that is in much better shape. He seem to go to for that one a lot still.

I purchased this bike for my son's 4th birthday thinking it was a little bigger than it was. He is about to big for it. He i s almost 5 now and is about the size of a 6 year old. I saw that it is rated for age up to 8 but i wouldn't recommend oveer the age 4. But it is a pretty sturdy product and my son loves it. My 2 year old daughter even likes to sit on it, but she can't pedal yet!
