Apple iPod Touch (2nd Gen), 8GB

wow! this product is amazing! i bought it a day ago, and it hasnt been out of my hands!! i am even writing this revew on my ipod touch!!! i highly recomend this for everyone!!!!!

I bought my iPod touch directly from Apple 8 months ago. After having it about 2 weeks, it wouldn't hold a charge overnight. I figured it was something I was doing so I ignored it for a while, and adapted to how different apple products work. Its not as user friendly to a person who has never owned any apple product. After having it 6 months the touch pad stopped working. I called Apple and they said I'd have to pay them $39.99 just to have them fix it.... because the 1 year warranty is "LIMITED". So they talked me into buying an extended warranty and then I sent it to be fixed. A week later they sent it back saying it had water damage and it wasn't covered under warranty. Knowing I never exposed it to water, I called apple and questioned them... They say sweat or even it being a damp place would cause it and they would do nothing. BUT, of course they'd fix it for another $120. I told them to give me my money back for the extended warranty, which they did.
I don't reccomend this product mainly because of the terrible customer service at Apple. If you get one and it works with no problems... then great, but I feel for anyone who has a problem and has to call them. Not to mention battery replacement in the things are common, bet on replacing that by the time its a year old.

This was purchased as a gift. Walmart.com had the best deal I could find. Even better than the stores price. Worth purchasing online and getting site to store delivery. As for the iPod touch. My son has many different gaming systems, he has his iPod in his hands as soon as homework is done. Sometimes he even uses the calculator on it to do his homework. He is even listening to more music. This has made our constant running to football and all a lot more quiet. Just wish the prices were even lower.

I love my Ipod Touch! I've had NO problems at all unlike Ipod's I've had in the past. The only thing is that it froze like twice, but I was on the internet with like 7 pages open, so that definitely contributed. I recommend getting a case though seeing as if you hold it without the case, it feels really fragile. Overall, it's AMAZING. Oh yeah, and the earphones that come with it are pretty good too. They actually are my favorite ones out of all earphones I've ever owned. Hope this helps.

I bought the iPod Touch 8GB (2nd Gen.) for my wife's birthday. The storage capacity is more than adequate. My wifes primary interest is music downloads.

We were also very impressed with the video quality and she has downloaded a full length movie and several music videos.

My wife was also delighted by the many free games and apps available at the Apps Store. She loves the WiFi feature and the ability to access the internet at no charge. The included apps are very useful.

A great iPod at a great Walmart price.

I love this gadget! I wanted one to "take the internet with me" in my purse, and for the ability to check my email periodically, but wasn't really thinking about how much I would love clearing all those CD cases out of my car and taking all that music with me so compactly. Love the 10-in-1 accessory kit-great value! Items would cost much more separately. The cable to connect it to my car allows me to use my car speakers. Wall charger works great-very quick! Small speaker in kit is really decent for the size and price. I have only had it one week, haven't even gotten any apps on it yet, and am looking forward to that.

My son loves his ipod! I bought it for him after I got my iphone and he was begging me for an iphone. I was not purchasing an iphone that I would have to pay a data plan and monthly charge on for a six year old, so I turned to the ipod touch. He loves it. We are very happy with it.
