Oh My Goodness, I had so much fun playing with my children on Christmas Day. This is a great family time activity. Playing back the CD that you can make is pretty cool. I would recommend Wii Music to all ages. Everyone will enjoy it.
This was purchased for my 10 daughter, but we all had such a great time. Grandma was also involved and enjoyed playing Wii Music

I was very much looking forward to this product coming out. I put the game in to play and could not believe how incredibly boring it was. I love music and love a good challenge, and this was neither.
Games like Rock Band or Guitar Hero are so much better! I'm very surprised this game got the high ratings it did.

Good for little ones

I have an eight and five year old. The eight year old wasn't too crazy about this game. However, the five year old enjoys playing this anytime we fire up the Wii. There's also quite the lengthy introduction to the game for any new player that plays for the first time. As an adult, I think the game is ok. However, when compared to Guitar Hero, this definitely lacks the emotional connection that the older crowd feels. Again, it's good for the little ones but lacks any emotion in comparison to Guitar Hero. All things considered, it's ok.

Wii Music doesn't have as many games as I expected; but my 11 y/o son likes it, it actually does a good job because it requires a lot of attention and concentration for them to listen and to follow the notes... but it gets boring after a while.

***PLEASE READ*** GAME IS FOR 2 YEAR OLDS (CHEAPEST SONGS IN THE WORLD) I bought this game for my son for Christmas, I was telling him to pick Guitar hero but he insisted that he wanted ''Wii Music'' because of the cool comercials they would show. So I got it for him and it takes about a whole 10-20 minutes to start becouse of tutorals. And finally when the game started you could pick any instrument you want but all of them are the SAME in how you PLAY THEM, MOVING YOUR HANDS UP AND DOWN IS ****ALL**** YOU DO FOR ABOUT 99% OF THE INSRUMENTS!!! There is NO WAY TO LOSE a level you always pass to the next one, EVEN IF YOU SWUNG YOUR HANDS UP AND DOWN NONSTOP THE WHOLE CHEAP SONG. Hopefully sold game on ebay

This game is a lot of fun for people who aren't musically inclined. It's fun to just jam, or to play games to unlock new songs! Not as much fun to play alone, but a lot of fun with a group. I love the way it sounds when the composer laughs!!

I haven't played everything on this game yet, but I am so loving the handbells. My 4 year old son is my partner in crime when it comes to Wii music. He loves it just as much as I do and to only be 4, he is learning to keep up with the beat and ring the bells just right.

This game is so much fun to play. If you record enough videos and take the lessons, you can unlock all the instruments and songs (and the game might even throw in a few surprises like dressing your band in dog costumes).
It's easy enough for kids and the musically challenged to play because you only have to keep rhythm instead of playing each note separately. But you can still be creative by playing notes whenever you feel like it throughout the songs. And you can, in fact, change the pitch, tempo, and other characteristics of the music on certain instruments by pressing different combinations of buttons on the remote and nunchuck. You can also make your Mii dance by using the arrow buttons (the down button gives your Mii really sweet finishing moves.)
Recording and playing back videos is really cool, and the mini games are fun as well. I highly recommend this game.

Like other people have said about this game, I thought it would be a game where you play notes and compete against other players. I get bored about 10 minutes of playing and turn it off. I was really excited about getting the game, I picked it over some other games.
Yeah you can play a insturment and create a album, but that's not fun at all!!

We have had a great time with Wii Music. Our entire family has played the games from ages 5 - 37. My daughter and I created a Twinkle Twinkle Little Star video. As you try new areas, more instruments are added to your list. Sounds like cheerleader, dog bark, and hand claps keep it fun but there are also plenty of traditional instruments to try. It was truly a great gift.

We absolutely love Wii Music! By playing the game, you are actually learning to harmonize, discern pitch and other aspects of music theory, which is awesome, especially for kids. We love to play the handbells. The only disappointing thing is that there are only 5 songs for the handbells.
