Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. I was hesitant about buying a TV online without being able to see a model in a store. However, there are other local retailers that carry this manufacturer, so a buyer can see it first before purchasing it (WalMart does not have a model to view in stores). I love it. Great TV, Great Value, Great Choice. I dont suggest buying the recommended TV wall mount for this flat screen, it is very heavy and will need a larger wall mount if you want the TV mounted. It has a clear, sharp picture and you wont be sorry. It took about a week to deliver and you will need lots of hands taking it out of the box and setting it up or installing it.

I was very impressed with the picture quality of this television!! Do be aware that it is very heavy. Although, if you remove the base it will save you at least 20lbs when hanging. The base itself is very heavy. There is no glass cover on the front, which I like because there is no reflection. The picture is incredible, even on dark movies. When paired with a bluray, you have got a breathtaking picture! I would highly reccomend this tv. It is just as good as the name brands for a way better price!!!

This TV is just what it represents itself to be at an AWESOME price. My husband is in heaven (which is where I want him to be!) Still can't get the remote to talk to the dish remote (code???), but small consolation.

First of all, I would say that it is good to deal with Walmart. Very good customer service and a good return policy. You won't go wrong buying from Walmart.
However, I will be returning this product.
The picture is pretty good and it has a lot of features for a low price.
On the unit that I received, when the TV is on but the picture goes to a black screen, you can see an eliptical spot in the center of the screen where it is darker, and the corners are lighter. This screen variation is less visible if you look at the screen straight on, and it is more visible if you look off-axis. If the picture is bright, you don't notice the problem, but if you're watching a show that is fairly dark then you can see this weird eliptical pattern in the picture. It's unacceptable. I don't think every Olevia TV would have this same problem, but you never know.
I've decided to go with plasma rather than LCD, so I think I've learned something from the experience.

If this TV is destined for a bright or well-lit room with little to no off angle viewing, you'll be satisfied. If you intend on watching movies or shows in a dark room, you'll quickly tire of the poor contrast this screen displays. Even after a full calibration the black levels are terrible. Dark scenes in movies and shows have no detail and prove frustrating to watch. If black levels are important to you, save your money and buy a smaller, higher quality plasma.

I've owned this for a few days now but have owned Olevia's in the past and this plays as good as my 37"inch but just on a larger sceen. This products offers the same great picture as well as the same awesome features such as split sceen as well as the picture in picture.

The product is great in ever aspect. However, it is very heavy(187lbs)so you will need a stand that can support it. Hook up was a breeze with the hdmi cables and picture rivals that of tv's twice the cost. My son likes it better than his Samsung he just paid $2800.00 for.

The tv has good quality picture. Sound good. The only thing I don't like about it is, I have been unable to use the remote on my satellite dish. It will turn it on but have to change channels with other remote. In total very happy with product.

So far so good. The TV is performing quite well since installation. We hung it on the wall of our conference room and use it for powerpoint presentations, dvd viewing and video feeds of our week-end worship service. We use a separate sound system so I cannot comment on the built in sound system. We're using this TV to replace a projector and screen. Although the projector gave us a much larger picture, the quality on this monitor is far superior to what we had with a projector. We bought the wall bracket recommended by the Wallmart web site and it worked fine.
