This Energy Star-qualified 720p model saves energy and saves space. It's less than 3 inches deep without the detachable stand, so it's perfect for smaller rooms. The tuner can receive conventional analog channels (NTSC), as well as digital channels (ATSC), including over-the-air HDTV broadcasts where available and unscrambled digital cable channels. An HDMI input and a variety of other inputs make it simple to connect DVD players, camcorders, digital cameras, or even a computer. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than that of a standard-definition TV. Please contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade to HD programming.

I needed a small simple TV for my bedroom. Love this brand, so I purchased this one instead of another one that appealed to me. This TV seldom has a clear picture, the picture rolls consistently and keeps a sandy unlear pictureon most stations. I really expected more from this brand, and got a lot less. If I can locate my receipt, I might return it.

I wanted a small tv for the bedroom. I was replacing a Magnavox tube tv that was 12 years old. Still worked great with an excellent picture but was so bulky. This Magnavox has wonderful picture and sound. I love everything about it except for the remote control. It is so tiny that it's very hard to press only one button at a time. But I can buy a universal remote. I have had magnavox tvs for years and have always been very happy with them. I am going to replace another 27" magnavox, 10 yrs. old with a 42" .
Love the site-to-store option. What could be easier. Ordered online, picked up tv a week later. Walmart had just recently opened a new superstore just a few miles from my home.

Please don't think any of my ratings of 4 mean something is wrong, I always think there's room for improvement with everything... however, this is a great little tv. I don't have it connected to my digital HD cable box so it is connected just through the cable. It found many more stations during setup than the small tv it replaced including some HD stations (excellent quality picture). Setup was quick and simple by the way. It is lightweight and very easy to move around. The picture quality, on regular stations, is good considering it's connected via a cable that has been split several times before reaching this tv. I'm sure the picture will be excellent when connecting through one of the better types of connections. Sound quality was fine. Liked that it had an HDMI connection for my son's PS3 as well as all of the other connections; not all of the LCD tvs have the HDMI connection. The price was EXCELLENT but unfortunately it isn't being offered at the same I paid; I was going to order another as soon as I set up this one and saw how it worked. Will keep my eye on this one for pricing as I want another to replace another small tv.
