Although I need to start off by saying that I wish the packaging was a lot better because two of my chair backs arrived damaged -- but, the quality of this dining set, for the price, is awesome! I absolutely love the look and it's all wood! My friends think I spent a lot more money than I did because it really looks as though I purchased it at a furniture store. The box, which weighs about 180lbs, fit perfectly in the trunk of my SUV. As I mentioned, I had two pieces damaged but the company's customer service dept. was diligent in putting in a request for replacement. Thanks Walmart!

I Love this counter height dining set I purchased upon reading the reviews my daughter and I put it together in a little over an hour. I did have a problem with the stain on one of the chairs in the front it looked like it ran and was not wiped off. I called the manufacture listed on the book and they are sending me another chair back NO PROBLEMS!!! The only down side is I have to take it apart again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND This I LOVE IT!!!!! The price is right for a great set. Ashley and other furniture stores even outlets can not beat this one!!!!

I have a small kitchen and I spent days looking for a small table that would fit in my kitchen. This table is perfect for a small space. It took a few hours to unwrap everything and put it togehter. I didn't mind the packaging because it kept the furniture for getting banged up and scraped. There were a few scrapes at the bottom of the legs where the leg bolts had broken through the packaging but they were so small that you don't notice them. Putting the first chair together was slow going but once I knew how to put it together the others went faster. I have received many compliments on the set. It's a really cute table at a great price. Great for a small space.

I bought this set to put in my breakfast nook area between my kitchen and family room which isn't a large area. The set fits perfectly in this space even with the table top being fairly spacious and the chair size being comfortable. Overall it's a nice looking set for the price and it complements my dark wood floors. My husband put the set together in a couple of hours. He's not a "handy" type of guys and said it wasn't hard to do, just a lengthy process due to the all the screws used to put the chairs together.

I just purchased my dining set today and I love it! I got it at the actual store on sale for $249. I've been searching Target and Kmart and both stores had the similar table but target price was $499 and Kmart $237 with no detail on the chairs or the table top! I definitely recommend it! It was very simple to put together it only took me about 2hrs.

After 3 yrs of looking for a table, my husband found this table in Walmart...GO FIGURE!!! Before we purchased it, we checked numerous furniture stores with in a 50 mile radius. Since we havea small dining room area, we needed something that was small enough to fit, but sturdy enough to be used daily. It was also important that it went along with our tradition living room. It will be seen from the couch... There was a table, similar in appearance at Ashley furniture for twice the price. We noticed that the wood top on the floor model was all scratched up on the floor. This pub table from Walmsrt was able to with stand many people poking and moving it around, npo scratches found on the store display. For $297 and after numerous glances at the table each and every time we went into walmart, we decided to take the plunge and purchase the table. After 2 hrs of putting it together and our cat finding a new home (not cool) WE LOVE THE TABLE!!!!! We love the look of it, and its spacious top!!! I reccommend getting a small wood marker set to fix any dings that may happen along the way, just to keep it up at its best! What a terrific value!!!!! Go for it....good luck..and all you need to put it together is a strong person to bring it in COZ ITS HEAVY!!!!! And a good level of excitement....youll finish it in no time!!!! Its an unbelieveable value....Now if I can only find a new TV stand to match it, that would be fantastic!!!!

This dining set is great for our breakfast area. It sits about as high as the counters and island in the kitchen. It's great quality for the price and fairly easy to put together. I put it together in about 1-2 hours I'd say.

This has got to be the best piece of dining wood furniture ever made! The prior reviews led me to buying this product OHHHHH MY WORD I can't believe this! My Appreciation goes out to the maker of this product. It took me about 2.5 hours to put this together. My 12 yr old daughter put together 1 chair on her own, and we put together 2, and I did the last 1 cos she fell asleep. We started at 9:30 and done by 12:00am the day before Xmas to get it done for Christmas Day. I just moved in to my first apartment alone ever and this dining set make my place inviting, cozy and beautiful! I wouldn't even think twice about this product, you need to own one. When you push 4 chairs in they snug, but like the previous reviews push to the side and 4 will fit and moving the chairs to each side ohhh my gosh...it's giving it an artistic look so different from the normal dining look. It's special! I custom made my placemats myself to fit this special table, cos the regular placemats at the store's corners is on top of each other, and my very own custom made gave it the extra extra elegant look, my friends asked where did I buy the placemats and it look expensve too! Buy this for yourself, the price is unbeatable and top of all is the quality itself! IT IS ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! You don't even have to see it to believe it. I love my apartment because of this. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! I would love to post my dining here but I haven't load it to a cd to load in here. But I wanted to post this review so bad. My and my boyfriend had been looking for an affordable table for a long time and then came across this one on Walmart.com. I was kind of scared to order over the internet without seeing it in person before, but was surprised when we got it put together. It was better than we imagined and it fits very well into our place. I love that its higher than most tables and can fit 4 people at the table (max). Smaller table, but that's what we wanted, so GREAT BUY!!!

The whole thing was well made and put together fairly easy. The hardest part was getting it out of the box. If I had to return it I couldn't do it in the box it came in. No way to save it should it needed to be sent back. Took a little over two hours, but I suggest using a wrench rather than the tool they supplied.

This is a great dining set,fits perfect in my kitchen corner...who knew Walmart would have such a quality dining set.I got this one after cancelling the order of the retro dining set,the retro set was cheap and two of the chairs were wobbly and uneven to the floor by a good 2 inches...my only other problem was the SLOW SHIPPING...13 days from ordering to delivery,not cool. I was in need of a dining room set, and fell in love with this table the instant I saw it on display in the store. It is gorgeous, made of good quality wood, and relatively easy to assemble (but only with the help of my boyfriend!). It is pretty heavy, and a drill is recommended but not necessary. Over all, we love the table and would recommend it to anyone. It looks so much more expensive than it really was!
