This is a nice item. However I was very disappinted that despite the fact the item description claims it is for a full-size bed the Topper is much smaller than my full-size mattress, both in length and width. My advice is to measure your bed and hopefully you'll be able to compare the measurements with those of the topper.

My mattress isn't the best, so I was looking for a foam pad to improve my sleep comfort. I chose this one and I am glad I did. It is very comfortable. The 1.5 in is more than enough. The quality is very good, it flattened as soon as I removed from the box, it has a cover which is on for you, it fit my twin bed perfectly, and has no smell. The price is very affordable, too. I would recommend this to anyone.

For $40, this is a good upgrade to my existing mattress--it's more comfortable than before. The only problem is that the memory foam mat does not cover the entire top of the mattress so there are gaps to the sides, so sometimes the mat slides slightly around. The product is not perfect but it's a good buy for the price.

I bought this to help ease hip pain I was having in my pregnancy, no joke my pain disappeared overnight. We have been sleeping comfortrably every night with this addition to our mattress. At just 1.5" it makes a noticeable difference. Fits nicely on our Queen size. No toxic odor, I am very sensitive to scents and odors, and I haven't noticed any. I recommend this and will be getting one for my parents for Christmas.

This mattress pad is comfortable. It definately does help my lower back pain. I tried the 8" Canopy memory foam mattress pad and found it difficult to roll over etc and had to return it. This 1.5" pad is just enough to support my back without me sinking in too deeply. That said, THIS THING SMELLS BAD. I have had it two weeks now, and even after letting it air out for 4 straight days before using it, it still has a strong chemical odor. If you don't mind strong odor, its a great pad.

We think this product is great! From the first night to the present we have noticed a big difference in our sleeping, and the absence of back aches. The only complaint is that we have a "king" size bed. The mattress is a little short on the sides - length is OK. My only concern is that in the future the mattress does not compress at all from the weight of our bodies in the sleeping positions. (You know how new pillows are just right when you get them, and then they flatten down until you eventually buy new ones.)

The mattress topper completely met my expectations. It makes my son's bed much more comfortable and was helpful for my mother-in-law's "back problems" while she visited. The only thing I would like to see different is the size: it does not cover the entire width of a twin mattress, which decreases the total sleeping surface. Other than that, I think it was money well spent.

I bought this to replace a 3" thick memory foam topper that didn't really fit my bed (it was about 5 inches shorter than my mattress, and it cost me $300) and over which my sheets did not fit well. I must say that this thickness is just as adequate as the 3" topper, that the sheets fit perfectly now, and that I am sleeping as well, if not better than I was on the other one. This one was a bargain in comparison, and does just fine.

I am a very lazy person, but this product has made me write my first review ever - so that more people can experience what I am experiencing right now - total comfort !!
I had a very uncomfortable spring coil mattress which started giving me and my wife back pains within one week of buying it. I looked around for a mattress topper and came across this one - I took a chance and it worked wonders !!
I took the advice posted by other reviewers and bought a king size topper for my queen mattress. Some part of the topper comes out of the mattress - which can be cut to size or one can just leave it as I did. Easily covered by a mattress sheet cover. I've had no back problems ever since and I sleep like a baby.
True the product smells horribly when opened - but the smell fades away completely after a week or so..
I would say go for it and enjoy the peaceful sleep that you deserve after a hard day's work !!!

This is my 1st mattress topper so I wasn't sure how it would work. I have a pillow top mattress that I bought only 4 years ago and it has already started getting sink holes in spots I lay. Even though you flip it side to side, you cannot flip a pillow top upside down like you can others to prevent this kind of sinkage.
I really like this topper at 1 1/2 inches thick it get's the job done, however, there is a slight problem.
The problem I have noticed is that because of my other mattress sinkage, the topper has no place to go in that "hole" but down. So, in other words, since this topper contours with your body it also contours with whatever is underneath it, hence, sinkage of the topper. BUT, I have to say that although that is an issue, it is not truly an issue.
The topper has enough support to counter some of that sinkage and I am not sure if a thicker topper would change that, but it could be because this is only 1.5" thick that I even notice it.
The topper keeps it promise as far as contour and it appears good quality too.
There is even a zipper to remove the outer cover to wash.
2 thumbs up for this topper, it is comfortable.

I've tried many mattress toppers, usually very expensive, but nothing "tops" this topper. While other toppers feel great at first, they inevitably get squashed in the center, leaving me worse off than if I had nothing on top of the mattress at all. The Canopy 1.5" springs back up as soon as the weight comes off. I feel like my entire body is being supported. I highly recommend this topper.

I purchased the 2" Canopy king size mattress topper in the store on special for $70. I remember reading in consumer reports that Walmart had the highest rated memory foam topper and figured that's what I was getting. When I came home and realized it was the Spa Sensations brand that was the best I was hesitant to open it. But I had a very hard hand me down mattress and I didn't want to sleep on it the way it was any longer than I had to. I aired it out for 2 days in a spare room with the windows open. It gained most of it's size within a few hours and the smell vanished after a day. It wasn't that strong of a smell to begin with. I did notice there were some discolorations in the foam and it appeared to almost have some small cracks or holes in it but these proved to be natural variations in the material. I think most of the people complaining about it being a couple inches short of a king need to give it a quarter-turn because it fits my bed very nicely. After a while your regular mattress becomes shorter and wider with use. I didn't expect the topper to hang over to the side of my bed - it would be difficult to get the sheets over it if it did. I didn't put the included pad on it but rather laid it directly on top of my mattress then put a waterproof mattress pad over the memory foam. Then fitted and flat sheet, etc. It doesn't move or slide around at all. It does hold your body heat and I've kicked off the comforter and slept with only the sheet a few times but I'm looking forward to all that cozy warmth this winter. Overall this is a great product and an extremely economical way to make over a hard bed. It feels like I'm sleeping on one of those Heavenly Beds at a Westin hotel. My fibromyalgia keeps me from being able to sleep on my back for any length of time but this definitely does the trick!

This product is not even sized correctly, or 1.5 inches thick. Its flat is areas, not rectangular in shape to a mattress at all, and the smell..uughhh.
I let it set, aired it out, even tried pulling to streatch out the huge seem from being folded and still no change, i would have been better off buying a down comfortor and sleeping on top of it. maybe walmart got a bad batch or something, but im returning mine as well..

Someone (sorry I can't remember who) mentioned using both the Canopy Topper and the microgel fiber baffled topper together, and they were right - my daughter says her bed if VERY comfy now!
You'll need to use the sheets for thicker mattresses.
Definitely recommend - they are both very nice products, reasonably priced.

I took the advice of other reviewers and got a king sized topper for a queen sized bed. I cut off the excess and it fits the bed perfectly. I dont want the expense of purchasing a new mattress at this time and this topper seemed like a good idea. The price is unbeatable and it really makes my subpar mattress feel almost like new. It was well worth the money and my husband no longer complains of back pain from sleeping on the mattress. I would definately recommend this to others.
