Save your $$ and buy a named brand product,

I got this on Black Friday as a replacement portable for an upcoming trip Disney. I figured 50 bucks was a good value. Now 8 months later and this dvd player will not even hold a charge. This player boasts a 2 to 3 hour playtime...yeah for the first 2 weeks. Save your cash and buy a Sony or Phillips player instead. Even better use the money for a brand name portable and get a lowend laptop.

venturer portable 8 inch screen dvd player,

hi! this little dvd player does it all,plays dvd's and cd's without a skip. ive had mine going on 3 years and its still going strong. one piece of advice i would give to a buyer is to also invest in a dvd/ cd cleaning disk. i clean my player at least once a week and i do believe its added years to the little players life.well,hope this helps. enjoy! and merry CHRISTmas!!

Needs work,

Not the value I expected and defective. I returned this item after the 1st day of using due to a black line about 1 inch from the top of the screen. This player did not come with a car charger or remote as many others do. Spend $10 more and get a different one.
