After finally convincing their daddy that my boys would love to play kitchen, we decided on this one and are not the least bit dissappointed. It will have a semi-permanant home in our living area so I wanted it to be attractive and it is! We gave it to our middle son for his third birthday and he was thrilled, but his brothers were too (4&1/2 and 11 months), it seems like we have many years of use of this toy in front of us.

purchased the silver retro kitchen for our two year old daughter's birthday. although we thought it was a little on the spendy side, for our money, and the look on her face, it was a complete homerun and worth the cost. although the assembly is time-comsuming (about an hour), it is very sturdy and well made when assembled. the size is perfect - doesn't dominate our small play area - and it's just right for her. she loves the dishwasher (which doubles as dish storage), the oven (more storage), and the storage drawer which we use for storing her play food. she spends hours washing, cooking, and pretending. the color scheme will allow us to use it again when our newborn son is old enough to pretend-play in a few years. would highly recommend this to other parents.

Very cute, be prepared, assembly will take longer than you expect, couldn't believe I was using the correct bolt to attach the faucet it went on so hard! Holes in receiving piece should be slightly larger as it was hard to line some of the pieces up, the screw didn't "snag" the receiving holes on pieces where you were lining them up by feel.

We bought this kitchen for our 2 year old son's birthday. We wanted a smaller scale kitchen with an oven, range and sink. This fit the bill perfectly -- and for less than other kitchens we considered. We love the look and the quality of the product. Our son plays with it daily and so far the doors, drawers and knobs have held up beautifully. He also loves the drawer component -- who knew!?! It was fairly easy to assemble and we had very little trouble with it. Our only complaint is that the faucet is a little wobbly and not as secure as we would like. All in all, however, it is a GREAT kitchen.

We purchased this kitchen for my 2 year old daughter for xmas and she loves it. She plays all the time and it takes quite a beaten. Open and shut doors and draws and even some climbers on playdates. Also very good size cabinets for easy cleanup of pans and food i bought her as well. Plastic organizers fit nicely so no mess!!!

We ordered this kitchen for our son for Christmas because he is always in the kitchen trying to "help" us cook. He loves this kitchen. He started playing with it before we were even done putting it together. He is 2 1/2 years old and his imagination runs wild when he is playing in his kitchen. We love the way it looks, the height, and it was easy to put together. We highly reccomend this to any familly that has a little chef like ours.

Bought this for my 5 yr old son for Christmas. He loves it! Shipped directly from Kid Kraft and first shipment went to wrong state then the second time it came without all the parts!! Kid Kraft did send the missing parts in about a week and all is well now. Its a little smaller than I thought, but well built, sturdy and stores a lot of the "play items" that can be purchased for it. Very cute and retro!

This kitchen is sooo precious. We bought it for my 2 and half year old for Christmas and she loves it. It really is a quality toy that she will have forever. Had a small problem with the faucet and the screw stripping out, but we fixed it. Took my husband a little over an hour and a half to put it together, not 4 hours like some other reviews had said.

It was the best value I could find for the most realistic kitchen set. It's made of wood instead of the usual plastic. I got it for a Christmas present for my granddaughter. My son said it was very easy to assemble and my two year old granddaughter loves it. Her mom says it's a great height for her with growing room.

I purchased this set for my 4 yr old son for Christmas. The only thing I recommend if purchasing this set or from Kid Kraft, is that you start putting it together earlier than needed and check all parts. We were missing some of the hardware and it was not finished by Christmas morning, because the company was closed for the holidays and unable to ship us the parts in time. I also broke a screw head off when assembling, it was just one, so I guess it could have been just a faulty screw. My son loves his new set. He enjoys cooking and I wanted something non-girly for him.

Love the gender-neutral colors! Love the design -- retro but yet modern and not distractlingly over-detailed. Love the size -- not too big for my 2 yr. old daughter, not too small for my 4 yr. old son, lots of storage space for faux food and dishes, and it fits perfectly under the window in my son's room. Extremely sturdy; my husband kept commenting on the quality of it as he assembled it and he usually grumbles through assemblies. Knobs turn and click, doors open and close, but no electronic sounds -- yay! It would be great if there were a matching refrigerator, but my kids either are unaware of the lack of fridge or don't care and are completely happy with this kitchen as is. My son asked if Santa would be at his preschool Christmas program (postponed to after Christmas due to snow) "because I want to thank him for my kitchen."

This kitchen is great -- even though it's called a retro kitchen, it actually fits modern decor and isn't too girlie. It's a good height for our relatively short 21 month old and has a lot of dials and buttons for him to push. The assembly was fairly easy, but some of the pre-drilled holes didn't match up. I wish it had a few more places to hang pots and pans or oven mitts and accessories.

Santa brought this kitchen for my 3 1/2 year old son this year. He loves to cook. He loves it. Its one of his toys he plays with everyday. I assembled it in about 30-45 minutes by myself. The quality is great and it looks just so darn cute. Its not huge like those plastic kitchens so you dont need a lot of space for it. The bottom draw holds all the food santa brought as well. It has great storage space for all the utensils and pots and pans. Overall it is a very sturdy kitchen and would recommend it to all. Its great for all the little boys out there that like to cook and help out in the kitchen and there isnt a touch of pink on it at all.
