I’ve had my vacuum only for a short time, but so far it’s wonderful! It picks up really well. The one thing that could be better is the short reach of the vacuum when cleaning attachments are placed on it. Overall this was a great buy, and is one of the best vacuumes I’ve purchased.

The new vacuum arrived today, four days before expected. I noticed a couple of reviews that mentioned this vacuum was a bit heavy. I am replacing an old WindTunnel that is five pounds heavier than this one. The self-propel functions really well and along with the lighter weight that my old vaccum it is a breeze to operate. All of the same tools and options are there than I had with my older machine. In all truth I think that my older machine might have had a bit more suction, but this one cleans the carpet well.

I purchased this vacuum a few years ago and it has worked pretty good, it works decent on hardwood floors and carpet (we have dogs and kids). But it has since died after about 3-4 years, my last one was also a hoover and I had it for over 10, so maybe my expectations were off, but I wanted to share the info.

I wanted a good upright vacuum with attachments that was highly rated by Consumer Reports. This Hoover fit the bill. I chose the manual over the self-propelled model because the additional belt was just a problem waiting to happen. This is not a light vacuum however like the Oreck or the Dyson and can be a workout if you have thousands of square feet. I think it is much more powerful than any vacuum Ihave ever used and is very effective at cleaning my apartment. I really love the tracks it leaves in my carpets and can be really effective on hard floors especially with the adjusting deck which is straightforward and easy to adjust. All at a fabulous low WalMart price and they even paid for the shipping!! I'd give it five stars but I haven't had it very long and don't know what to expect for dependability. There was some assembly after arrival but not a project you need a technician to fulfill. Really happy with WalMart, Hoover, and the price.

first let me say I only use the hose part -This vacuum is great I love it- the only problem is the hose is too short and the vacuum falls constantly. I wish they made it longer. Besides for that I own it for 2 years and it's great.

This is our second Wind Tunnel. The first is still working at 12 years old and is now the upstairs vacuum. This is a great vacuum and the price was good. I am glad it is so easy to push around.

This vacuum is easy to maneuver, has a nice long cord and isn't too loud. The only thing I haven't liked so far is it doesn't work very well on hard wood flooring. My other vacuum, a Sears model, was heavier, louder and the cord was shorter. So far I have enjoyed using this vacuume and would recommend this to others.

This unit was very easy to put together. Just slide the top on and attach two screws. I returned the first unit because I thought the switch was not working properly. It turned out that when I put together the same unit, you must tighten the screws so the switch works properly. I really like the onboard tools, dirt finder and suction. It is a great unit and works well. Good price and value. Walmart is very easy to deal with as well.

Our family has owned several different vacuum cleaners over the past 10 years, and this is by far the best one. After doing a lot of research I found this is the vacuum that is on many top 10 lists for upright vacuums and is incredibly affordable. Amazing job sucking up even the smallest amounts of dirt and easy to use. A+ after 1 month of vacuuming.

Love my new Hoover Windtunnel Bagged upright. I have a yellow lab who sheds alot & who loves to roll around in the dirt outside. With my other vacuum, it was a chore to try to get my rugs cleaned. It was also heavy and I felt exhusted when I was done. With my Hoover, it feels like it's self propelled, it's very easy to manuver & the suction is amazing! With the "green, clean light" I know when my rug is clean. I have no hair residue & my rugs "pile" has come alive. I would Highly recommend this vacuum to everyone.

Wow,,, what a great vacuum,,,,,,,,just received mine and my Husband assembled it quickly......I have had quite a few bagless sweepers,, do not like them,,,they throw the dust around,,,,,so messy,,,,,the dirt finder is great,on this sweeper,,,,,,,sweeper is powerful,,,would definitely recommend ,,,so glad I purchased this one...........Hoover makes a great sweeper have had one before.......

first of all I could not even get the front off without ripping my fingers half off yet it says easy snap off front for bag? Anything plastic MEANS it is not good!
I had a wonderful zipper hoover for 25 yrs if it didnt finally blow up I would not ever consider buying a new one, NEW DOES NOT MEAN GOOD! ANYTHING PLASTIC MEANS MADE CHEAP!
THINGS THAT WORKED YEARS AGO ARE ALL MADE OF PLASTIC THESE DAYS SO THEY BREAK AND YOU HAVE TO EITHER SEND BACK OR KEEP REPLACING I AM OUTRAGED BY TODAY'S TRENDS AND PRICES!

I needed a new vacuum and I did a little research on vacuums and looked at Consumer Reports. I saw this Hoover actually rates a little higher than another well known brand at a much better price. I can say I am extremly pleased! I have used the other expensive brand since several members of my family have one and in my opinion this Hoover has stronger suction power. I have pets so I need something strong and this does very well with the pet hair. The negative is that the attachments are a little hard to get stored back to the vacuum once finished with them.

My previous vacuum was a bagless Eureka and wow that thing was terrible. I had always had great luck with Hoover in the past and got really sick of cleaning out the bagless container after every use so I searched Walmart.com for a hoover with a bag. WOW, I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!!!! It really sucks up the dirt. And it has a light on the front. Hoover should list that in the features because I wanted one with a light and didn't think I would be able to get one for this price. Anyway, it's a GREAT vacuum. Buy this...You'll love it!!!
