Progressive International Progressive International Adjustable Bread Keeper
The Progressive International Adjustable Bread Keeper helps you store and preserve breads for longer periods of time. It is a box-type structure that houses the loaf, keeping out moisture and protecting the bread from mold formation or getting stale. This adjustable bread keeper can expand or contract to suit your needs. It also doubles up as a bread keeper with slicing guide, which helps you cut the loaf into fine and evenly sized slices. Made of polystyrene, the box is durable and corrosion free. It comes with adjustable air vents to ensure the right amount of air contact.

This is a great product for keeping homemade bread fresh. Since there is a dial that lets you change the "humidity" you can keep your bread fresh in all types of climates. And there is a small cutting board that fits in the bread keeper that makes it easy to slice without having to move the bread to a different cutting area. I think it is an excellent product for a very good price.

Great bread keeper

I got this bread keeper to keep the bread I make fresh. I wanted it because it is large size (so it fits the bread I make) and because it is adjustable. It may not fit a loaf of bread like you get from the store, but those come in plastic bags anyway and I don't see why you would want to put it in a different holder. I gave it a good rating on durability because I have not had it long enough to see how well it holds up. I am very happy with the bread keeper because it kept the bread I had put in it fresh for a week (even after I had cut pieces from it). The small cutting board in the bread keeper is very handy. For the price this is an excellent value and I only wish I had bought one sooner. I would recommend this product.

I purchased these as a storage option for my bread machine bread because it was a waste of time and money to keep wrapping the loaves in tin foil. So far the latest loaf of bread has lasted much longer than prior loaves before getting stale/moldy. As long as you follow the guidelines on what setting to put the humidity dial to, there shouldn't be any problems.

I make my own breads and this box is great for storing and extending its life. I'm happy with the construction, not flimsy at all. It will store a medium loaf with some rolls on the top/side of the loaf. True, the cutting board is small but perfect for the saver and slicing a slice or 3 at a time. Glad i bought it. Reasonably priced too.

I oreded this "Twice" from Wal-Mart. Both times it was cracked and had to be returned. I wish I could give you a review on the product itself but never got it in one peice. I would have to say it's very fragile.

Not bad at all for the price :@). I honestly thought it wasn't going to be as good as it is. I keep it on the counter next to the bread machine (showing off). Would like another so I can make and have raisin bread too but can't fit everything on the counter :@(. It fits a 2lb bread maker loaf.

This fits my homemade bread (from a full size loaf pan) well, but I find I need to stand it up on its end and slide the top off to use it. If I don't, the slices of bread all fall over.

I have owned earlier versions of this useful bread keeper. The latest version comes with adjustable ventilation, which is valuable in Florida climate; a handle which makes it easier to pull open; and a compact board for slicing the bread, which fits inside. I have purchased this very recently, so cannot yet judge how robust it will prove to be.
