Small Car Gem, 11/01/2009

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

My Toyota Matrix Auto has low side seatbelts. My grandson complained about his Mommies booster seat as the seatbelt was uncomfortable on his neck and shoulder. This seat is absolutely perfect for any car that has a low seat belt placement in a car. The featrues are really neat and safety 1st is the appropriate name here. Placing it in and out of a car is 1-2-3! Only comment is that it is not as easy to close for storage as the video shows. But I love it and would recommend it for the safety, comfort and convenience. 5 stars

Great booster for price, 10/17/2009
By tsmom05, pa
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

This is a great booster seat for the price! I have an SUV with forward protruding headrests that do not adjust. I had previously tried two other boosters before finding this one. Not only does this one work with my headrests, but it is actually more padded then the others I tried. My 4 year old (41”, 35lbs) seems extremely comfortable in this seat. I travel a lot and the head support in this booster is wonderful for when he falls asleep (even better than his car seat was). It also comes with two built in cup holders that pull out when needed, folds up and is extremely easy to transfer between cars. The height also adjusts for taller children without leaving a gap. The only real negative I see is that it does not have a removable back like some of the other booster seats.

Awesome Seat, 07/30/2009
By Shoppin4MyGirls, Missouri

I would highly recommend this booster seat. It is lightweight to move from car to car, but sturdy enough that you feel like your child is safe in it. My daughter loves her new seat!! She has only fallen asleep once, but was comfortable and her head wasn't constantly falling to the side.

Great Booster Seat, 07/28/2009

This is a great booster. My kid is almost 3 but weighs more than 30 pounds so we decided to get this. It's tall enough for him to look out the window. The color is great i was worried that it would be too light but its darker than it looks, very cute. Overall it's a great booster seat.

Great first time booster, 07/08/2009

The only down side is that this car seat is almost as large as a regular convertible car seat.

It is very cushy, my 4 1/2yr old can sleep easily.

I am very pleased with this product

I'm big into reading reviews on products before I but them, so I figure it's about time I review one myself. I am very pleased with this booster. I was looking for a safe seat as well as one that was comfortable for my 5 year old. We drove across the United States recently so I wanted a booster that would have good head support for a sleeping child. Her head never fell forward once! Love it. I'm new to boosters so I don't know if this is normal for a lightweight child, but the seat moves to the side when she leans really far to one side when she's strapped in(?)

EASY AND SAFE, 07/01/2009
By SUPERBUSYMOMOFTWO, ga
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

My son really loves his new booster. It is extremely easy to install. The safety reviews are great and I like the color combo. The headrest puts me at ease as the seat he had previously did not seem to wrap around the sides as much as this booster. I also like the fact that there is no confusion as to where the seat belt should be positioned. The drink holders have come in handy too. Would definitely recommend to others.

Safe & Sturdy booster, 04/28/2009

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

I purchased this booster for my 3 year old after he became too tall for his Britax convertible carseat. After three months of use it was involved in a collision and did great. I liked it so much, I purchased the same seat to replace the one in the accident. The seat fits well in the rear center seat of both our vehicles. I like the fact that the back is adjustable and there isn't a "gap" at the bottom as the child grows. I especially like the "wings" that extend on each side of the childs head for side impact safety, and also come in great for napping children...no head bobbing from side to side. Lots of extra padding compared to other boosters. The cupholders are handy and fit most sippy cups. This is a very sturdy booster in comparison to other major brands, and is of higher quality than the Graco Turbobooster. As an added bonus, it folds flat for airline travel, etc. Would recommend!!!

I got what I was looking for a durable seat that would fit a large 6 year old child. I think this will last for all my grandchildren until they are too old for a car seat. My 6 year old granddaughter loves her new seat. Now she can see what is going on around her and she feels safe in it.

I really like this car seat. I was able to get it on sale, so it was a really good value. I would happily pay full price for it. It feels solid, not flimsy like the Graco or Evenflo but it is still lightweight. Fit in my car really well, and my daughter seems to be comfortable in it. It's back doesn't recline, but it does have a nice curve to it so it isn't stick straight and uncomfortable like the other brands.

I have a compass stroller and loved it, so when I saw they also made booster seats, I was thrilled. Price, a bit high. After having it for a couple months, I realized it was worth every dollar! My son loves it, it's soft and comfy and durable as well. Love it!!!

Very Pleased, 03/10/2009
By DelawareMom16
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

I mistakenly thought the high back booster would be the easiest seat to buy yet, but found different. My average sized 5yr old would not fit comfortably in the most popular choices...graco turbobooster, Big Kid DLX. The shoulder area was not wide enough...the wings protruded before her shoulders ended. I thought I must be nuts! With all the reviews...safety, fit, etc. I then considered, along with a good fit in the shoulders, it was not an easy task at all. When I found this product I liked the look, safety features, and the fit I thought it would provide. However, a bit concerned on a gov't safety rating that said the B505 and B510 models did not position the belt well. I went with the B540 model thinking they would have improved it by then. I have had the seat about a month and am very pleased. The seat is well padded and comfortable, the profile of it is slim besides the headrest portion and the flip up armrests are great. Cup holders seem fine, and do sit well in a sedan's seat. Most importantly, my daughter's shoulders fit well, and the belt appears to fit her just as all the safety advice indicates it should. The ability to fold is an added bonus. I had hoped to spend less on the high back booster, but what I got was worth the cost, compared to the others I saw on the market. I may just get a cheaper one as a backup for shorter trips, whereas normally I would have gotten two of the same.

good booster for older/heavier kids, 03/07/2009
By noahsmom3, Dallas, TX
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

After much research, I bought this booster for my just-turned-3-years-old son. He is tall for his age but average weight. This booster was very comfortable to him and fit very well in a small compact car. As a first time parent, each phase of his life we learn new things. I didn't realize boosters don't have the latch system - it only boosts the child up so the car's seat belt will fit. When we would round a corner, the seat wobbled. I think this booster would be perfect for heavier or older child for that reason. That is the only reason we took it back, and our son cried when we did. We actually recommeded that his grandparents get this one for their car - inexpensive and more practical for them in the long run.

A Good Product, 03/04/2009
By 1CaliforniaShopper, Los Gatos, CA
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

This is a great booster seat for our son. The ordering and shipping were great and we got the booster in less time than expected. We really liked the padding on the booster. The pads in the head area are the newer form of foam that is much thicker/denser than other boosters we looked at. Also, when you expand the seat to "grow" with your child, there is padding where it expands. Other boosters lack that feature. One aspect of the booster that is a bit disconcerting is it is easy to fold up, but when opening you have to pry it open until it "clicks" in place. However, that "click" sounds more like it is breaking. But once you get used to that it is a GREAT booster seat.
