This camera is pretty good overall, but it has a flaw with grainy photos when its dark. To solve this I usually use the flash button but other than that this camera is perfect. And I also use rechargable batteries; so I wouldn't know if they eat up regular batteries so I would just suggest to buy rechargable batteries if you're getting this camera.

I bought this camera last Dec when they were on sale in one of the X-mas circulars. It was $97--which I thought was awesome since I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a camera but needed one due to my daughter being born Nov 7th last yr. I haven't owned this camera for a yr yet and for the last couple of months I have been having problems getting it to turn on. At first I thought it was batteries, so I bought digital camera batteries. It will turn on when you first put new batteries in, but it won't turn on second time. I am VERY disappointed in this camera. Not wanting to deal with the hassle of sending it in and getting it fixed.......I guess I have to look at buying a new camera. I don't want to miss anymore photo opportunities of my daughter just because the camera won't turn on!! So be advised when buying this camera!!

Very good camera with one exception: When installing the batteries or changing the batteries making contact with the battery cap is difficult. You have to try it several times to make contact. This is a design flaw in my opinion.

I first got this camera about a year ago when it first came out and was very popular, and payed a lot more for it than it i now. It was good up until like 2 months ago when the lens started to not open, and the button you press down to take the picture gets stuck a lot. I have grown very displeased with the amera, and would recomend it only if you are looking for a camera to use for a short period of time!

This is an amazing camera. I bought it for my trip to Florida and I took my first picture and it was astounding! The clairity was amazing. you can change the picture size, the color mode, where to store the photos, sounds, and other things, too. There are many different picture modes and a video mode which doesn't take up that much space. The only flaws are that when you first get this camera, make sure you get a memory card for it, too. Also, when reviewing the photos and videos, if you decide to watch a video, there is no sound. Overall, this is a wonderful camera. I would recomend it to anybody!

Still Indecisive About this Camera,

Initially I was had trouble deciding on keeping it b/c I felt the color was off (a slight jaundiced coloring) but people just insisited that my other camera's color was so bad that I didn't know what "good" color looked like. So I ended up keeping it. I received it at the beginning of May and was pretty pleased with it up until the beginning of August. It takes nice outside/nature photos, does well with movement (like kids) and I really had no complaints except sometimes inside if there wasn't enough lighting the photos came out bad. Then August 1st I went to my aunts wedding and am severely disappointed with the photos! Most are super dark (can't even see anything) & very grainy. I tried it on several settings (including auto which made the photos black, night which made the photos severely blurred and High USO which made the photos dark/grainy. The High USO is supposed to be for low light conditions like that of the church & the reception hall (the lights were dimmed). I almost cried going through the photos... I took 250 photos and only maybe 10 came out decent. I'm extremely disappointed & am considering asking to exchange it for another camera.
However, on the positive side I recommend this camera if you are a beginner and just want a point & shoot type camera or have children. It's a nice camera to use as long as you aren't in low light conditions.

I bought this camera for my daughter. I have another brand of kodak digital camera and she liked mine and wanted one for her birthday. This camera takes better pictures then the kodak digital camera I have and mine cost more than hers. LOL! This is really easy to use and can view pictures instantly. Great buy for the price.

Very pleasing to the eye, the person I bought this for really liked the design and shape.
Takes great pictures for those who aren't picky (i.e. normal people like me who know very little about cameras)

Only bad thing is that it has AA batteries. These batteries suck up the your Camera power fairly quick so either carry extra or buy the really nice AA batteries

I love this camera. I have had it for about 2 weeks. It was very easy to figure out. I was taking pictures right away. Like most digital cameras, you do need extra memory, which I was expecting. I love the size of the screen. Downloading the disk was easy and downloading pictures is easy. Also, I ordered through walmart.com and it was here within a few days. Highly recommend both this camera and walmart.com. No complaints! :)

This is our fourth purchase of a Kodak Easyshare camera. We began several years ago with a 3 megapixel camera when that was the new technology! We have now purchased two of the C913's and we love them! The pictures are vibrant and you can make many manual adjustments through the menu for different photographic situations. We also own the EasyShare camera dock which is adaptable to all the Kodak cameras. It's simple to download your pictures to the computer. The Kodak software is easy to manuever and the pictures printed at home or elsewhere always turn out great. Make sure you use rechargeable batteries. They are worth the initial investment. You get hundreds of pictures before you have to change them and they last for years.
