I never heard of this brand before, but while shopping online for body wash, I saw this listed as top rated by customers, and decided to take a chance. Best body wash ever! I'm so glad I found it! My apartment building is overheated and very dry, and I'm older, so I really suffer from dry skin most of the year. My skin has been so dry last winter that it actually hurt. I know I sound like an infomercial, but the truth is, my legs felt much better the first time I used this. I've never used any body wash or lotion that hydrates skin like this.
The only downside I found is that the bottle is very large and heavy and can be a bit hard to manage with arthritis, but I simply saved a small empty bottle from another product and put some in it.
When I bought this in Feb. 2013, Walmart had it as free to home, but now it looks like it's not available that way, which is very disappointing.

I used this product for 5 years +. I am very sensitive to fragrance, strong fragrance makes my nose itches and sneezes. This one is the only one don't give me that issue because the smell is so tiny after washing you can't really smell it. The product never give my skin uncomfortable, dryness, itchy. At first I tried it because it's in expensive, now they change to a smaller bottle but the same pricing. I will still use it, cos it's great for everyday use.

Bought for years for its clean smell, tea tree oil and olive oil formula changed by adding argan oil and acai extract resulting in another flowery body wash product. Not suitable for anyone looking for a clean, refreshing smell. Label should have indicated new sweet fragrance formula.

I live in rural Alaska where the air is dry. I love this product. My skin is not as dry as when I used other "moisiturizing" body washes. It has a nice light scent. Well worth the money. It will be a staple in my household.

This was more chemical smelling than like tea tree oil. In addition it dried my skin out and did nothing to moisturize it whatsoever.
Tea Tree Oil is rather strong, but I think they must have put only 1/2 drop of it in this entire bottle, and it's just off. More like a synthetic smell if that is possible rather than the nice antiseptic smell of Tea Tree oil.
I will not use it on my body again, bathing room stinks. I will use it on my laundry when I run out of laundry soap and see what happens !! ??

This body wash is an excellent value. One bottle lasts me 4-5 months - and I love suds so I'm not skimpy on the pumping! You can't beat the price and it doesn't smell like Tea Tree Oil - which can be a little off-putting. It smells fresh and clean.

When I saw the high rating and read such high praise in these reviews, I decided to try it. So glad I did! I have very bad skin; overly dry and easily irritated. Over time, this is softening my skin with very gentle exfoliation and mild, mild moisturizing. It's relatively inexpensive and I've been conservative with it's use, but I'm finding the more I use, the better my skin texture becomes!
It has a light scent that's just "clean" and doesn't last to bother you later. It lathers well enough to get you clean and not leave soap rings in your tub. I've been using a wash cloth (instead of a pouf) with it, which I think adds to the exfoliation effect, but it hasn't irritated my skin the way other soaps and washes have in the past.
I just love it -- and want more from the Body Essence line.

I absolutely love this body wash. It is getting more and more difficult to find in the stores so I ordered 8 bottles online (ordered enough to get free shipping). I don't think I will do that again. None of the bottles were taped shut. Five of the 8 were open, and one was 1/3 empty. It was a total mess.

Not very moisturizing but non-drying. A bit of a manly scent but the scent doesn't linger so it is not a problem. It is a fine body wash for when you don't want to pull out your high end products. I keep this in the shower for my kids and hide my good products.
