The ratings do not work for this. Cover Girl is a great product but the problem was with the packaging.
I ordered and received this in a timely manner. Out of the four eye shadows in the Cover Girl Eye Shadow compact, three were broke to pieces. It not worth my time to try and return such. I was not packaged good at all. It was in a gigantic box bouncing around and of course it broke.

i started using CoverGirl products when i first stared wearing make up. i was a performer and needed something that would be dark and give my eyes huge pop with color. I use Drama eyes and i just LOVE it!!!! Its easy to just put too much black or too much of one color or shade on your eye but Drama eyes give you a good selection to have every area of your eyelid a shade. Easy to put on, and i love how it stays on and easy to wash off at the end of my day. last thing a girl wants is her make up to weigh her down and have residue from last night, not with this make up. Also i use more then just Cover Girl drama eyes i also use single shades of brown to add to my look. this is a good buy. ive even had girls like the color so much for their birthdays i buy them a pallet of their own.

I love the colors, although a bit "shimmery" - especially as the day wears on and your other makeup fades... it seems as though the warm colors of the shadows turns a bit glittery. Maybe that's just my eyes (I have allergies), but I find that using an eyeshadow primer helps keep the colors truer longer.

I got this eyeshadow in the Berries N' Cream shades. It is pretty average. Only the darkest shade even shows up and I'm kind of fair skinned. The lighter shades are pretty worthless. The product itself is very good as far as the texture, spreadability, and scent. The little applicator is not very good, but most of them aren't. I would buy this brand again, but not this shade.

The colors look so much better in the compact than they do on your eyes. You have to apply and apply and apply to even see anything. I'm all for the "natural" look.....but please. Give me SOME color. If I had known this was going to be a problem, I never would have bought this.

This review is for the Sheerly Nude palette: Poor quality.The colors are not pigmented at all. They are kind of powdery and very metallic that you cannot really know what color you have on your eye. Out of the four colors, i liked only one.

look's good in the packaging, but does not look like that on your eyes. Does not stay on, it creases, also feels very dry when your applying it on. It is also very low pigmented.

I got Country Wood and I love it. The price is okay. The colors are pretty. Its not the best though. Its pretty pigmented. My sister's daughter turned 16 a few days ago and many people complimented her makeup! I totally think you should get this.

I really like this product, it's easy to use, the applicator isn't rough on my eyes and the product isn't heavy or overly powdery.

This is one of the first eyeshadow kits I bought and I have to say, I STILL go back to the CoverGirl eyeshadows. They aren't dramatic in color for starters & they're very easy to blend.

I bought the blossoms pallet. Only the purples would show up on me. Very big disappointment. The little wand for the eyeshadow is very cheap. I had to use my fingers.

The colors are fine. Believe it or not, the colors do stay all day! What I don't care for are the applicators to put the eyeshadow on. They are too "stumpy" and will probably fall apart before the eyeshadow is all used. Other than that, it's o.k.
