They packaged the 10lb. of sugar with 2 gallons of cooking oil. Guess what the cooking busted the sugar! Never got to use the sugar because it was all it the bottom of the box which leaked all over my home when I brought it in! ! My wife went nuts and so did I. Train your people how to pack!! Do not but a 10 lb. sugar of sugar packaged in paper with 2 one gallons of cooking oil that is in a hard plastic container!!!!!!!!!!!!

One bag of sugar came open at the top during shipping. Sugar was in the plastic bag. I checked the other bag and found that it was not sealed too good. It did not pop open all the way. As always, Walmart's Customer Service responded quickly and promptly and sent a replacement.

The price is unbeatable however, Walmart should make sure that these sugars are properly packed (put them in a ziplock bag) before they ship it to customers. I purchased two 10 lbs sugar. The box did not have any box filler to protect the package. I ended up receiving two busted packages...sugar even dripping out from the box when the FedEx guy handed it to me. Too much sugar was wasted =(

Generally I am always satisfied with purchases on line, however it is not a good idea to purchase sugar on line. When I received my 10 lbs of sugar, the box was all in tact but the sugar had been places in a large zip lock bag and the original paper container was completely broken open and the sugar lay loose in the zip lock bag. Needless to say I was very disappointed and would not use the sugar. The problem was not the fault of the deliverer, the box was received in perfect condition. It was the fault of the packageing department. My suggestion is that you not sell sugar on line unless you can find a better way to package it for shipment.

2 of the 10 pound boxes were torn open because the boxes were too large without packing material! This is not the first time this has happened, I was shipped 4 boxes of dishes in two boxes that had no packing in too large a box. Yes several dishes were chipped and I paid $98 for shipping! I live on a small Island of Molokai, I depend on online buying and yet every time I receive a shipment from Walmart the boxes are crushed because they put items in too large a box and then don't put any packing paper in. I loose money when I order 5 bags of 10 pounds of sugar and I only receive 3 bags of 10 pounds of sugar that are intact and useable.

The sugar doesn't taste any different than any other sugar. I noticed the great value 10 pound bag is a great deal. I ordered online because I was purchasing a couple items and wanted to get enough for free shipping. I absolutely do not recommend ordering online, was a horrible idea. It came opened and all over the place. I had sugar in my other items I bought. It was a MESS! I called and luckily wal-mart gave me my money back.
