The Household Essentials 1600 Umbrella Clothesline is a useful and space-saving item that can be used in your home. It is an outdoor umbrella clothesline, which can be put up in your backyard. You can hang your washed clothes on it for drying. It is made from galvanized steel and rotates for easy loading. This clothesline has 12 lines and provides 165 feet of drying space. If you dont wish to have it as a permanent structure, you can fold down this compact galvanized steel clothes pole and store it until its next use.

This is our first experience with a 'store bought' clothesline. I am impressed with the quality for price of this model and have not experienced any serious issues with installation or use yet. I was happily surprised that there was no assembly required, other than to install the socket into the ground (in concrete), but I did have to 'weed out' a few of the strings that had found their way to the wrong side of the frame in a few places. It seems that the one joint in the pipe may should fit tighter or have a locking screw, but we have had some strong winds and the clothesline stayed out and fully spread without incident. I am curious as to how long the rubber-coated strings will hold up to the Texas summer heat and sun's UV rays. The construction quality seems very good.

Like everyone else, I bought this item to save money and for the experience of sun dried smell and feel. I also used a patio table to set up my dryer. This is a great strategy. It also eliminates the need for excessive bending. I live in Fort Worth where we have plenty of sun and wind. Perfect alternative to electricity. It also offers a reason to get outside for some peace and quiet, if only for a few minutes at a time.

Due to the inclement weather, I have only used this clothes umbrella once. However, I was able to determine that it will easily hold two loads of laundry. I do not have a clothes dryer and this eliminates the need for me to go up a hill to where the clothesline was located. Since I am 71 years old with two artificial knees this is a significant improvement.

I had one of these and lost it due to a tree limb falling on it. This is a perfect clothes dryer. It's easy to put up and use. Very simple to take down for storage. No rust either!! Couldn't be happier.

Received the product promptly for Walmart.com and was as good as I hoped for (considering the price). I use it once weekly and it does the job it's suppose to. It is very light (in material) which is good as I only put it up as needed then take it down for storage. I would recommend not leaving the clothes line up permanently as the line itself is polyurethan (not a coated wire line) therefore, I think the sun may dry out the material. The instructions mentioned that the line may stretch after a few uses but I haven't found that to be the case. Great product for the value and as mentioned, very portable.

It was a positive to me to have this delivered to my home instead of having to carry it to my truck, lift it in the back end and then lift it out of the truck and carry to the backyard after arriving to my home. Not a pleasant thought whereas having it delivered to my home short cutted the whole process. Thank you!

This is wonderful for hanging out laundry. I'm disabled, and using a regular clothesline in very difficult for me, and this works just fine. I've had one before, in Florida and even during a category 4 hurricane, it didn't break or come down!

I bought the umbrella clothes dryer several weeks ago and have not used my electric clothes dryer since. I am very impressed with how well it is made and how sturdy it is. I did not install it permanently in the ground as we wanted to be able to take it with us when on vacation. I have simply placed it into a cast iron umbrella stand and it works fine. I would certainly recommend it to others. There is something very pleasing and soothing about watching fresh laundry fluttering in the breeze.

This outdoor clothesline is fantastic, the only qualm is having to tighten the plasitc lines. There is plenty of extra line on each level, this will help as time goes by. The weight of the wet clothes does tend to make the plastic lines droop a bit. Took me less than a minute to tighten a line with a simple knot.
My clothes feel and smell so much better by drying outside. My home no longer gets warm or humid by running the dryer. Not to mention how much energy I have saved. Within two months, this clotheline has paid for itself, just in my energy savings.
I read a suggestion about putting the clothesline in a table that fits an umbrella, I took that lead and I can't begin to tell you how perfect it works. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
