I decided to purchase this product to have something to use to hold down my edges but this product seems more like a plain conditioning gel with no holding power what so ever. Even after I wrapped my hair down after applying the gel it still would not hold. I would have to admit that it did make my hair extremely shiny and it smells pretty nice but if you're looking for something with holding power then this isn't what you want.
