We broadcast our church services using a very low power FM transmitter. We provide loaner radios with headphones to anyone that needs them to hear the service better. We selected this particular FM radio as the receiver of choice primarily based upon the digital tuning. We programmed in the church transmitter frequency on all memory channels so those that are technically challenged will not accidentally tune the radio off frequency. This radio is small, lightweight, has no speaker so there is no accidental sound if a headset becomes unplugged. Everyone that has used it loves it. Plenty of volume for those with hearing problems. Digital tuning, easy to operate buttons and good sound. Perfect solution at a very reasonable price!

I should have read the other reviews and saved myself the disappointment. I to wanted a radio that had a belt clip and this one does not. I am not sure I will return the radio or not but I think I might. I will have to decide if I want to hang on to it. I think Walmart needs to revise that description and remove the belt clip. portion

I mainly wanted this for when I went to Astros game,so I could listen to the game while watchin.It worked great!!No worries about hearing it,as the lowest volume is prtty loud.Also picks up FM stations in the woods where I live,great!! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is,the backlight don't stay on very long.Other than that,it's fine.

I bought this to listen to the radio on the bus each day and it's great for that. It does pick up a little interference sometimes on an AM station I like, but I guess that's to be expected. I wish the volume had a lower setting, but I haven't had a problem with anyone complaining about the sound (the bus I ride makes a lot of engine noise anyway). I've been using it for about a month now and the batteries haven't died yet, so that's a big plus as well.

I would not recommend this product because the volume is too loud. The volume ranges from 1 to 16 and at the lowest level of 1, others around you would be able here what you are listening to. It would be hard to discreetly listen to the player in a public place such as on a bus or on an airplane without disturbing others with the noise. Despite the problem with the sound, it has a lot of good features. You preset up to 10 FM and 10 Am radio stations and also set the time. The player is very portable and very easy to use.

I wanted to buy a small radio for use while stocking shelves. This radio works perfect! One of the best features is the button lock switch, this prevents any buttons from being pressed while in my pocket. It comes with headphones that work good but I will need to buy the over the ear type so that they don't keep falling out of my ears while working. The markings for the different buttons are kind of difficult to see because they blend with the radio color. Overall I am very pleased with the quality and low price of this radio.

The only thing I don't like is that the ear buds are uncomfortable when you use it for extended periods of time (i.e. several hours in a row). Other than that, it picked up FM stations well and the battery life is better than I expected. It's a nice size and it's light.

this radio looked great and the price almost seemed to cheap. mine never worked. clock worked but would not tune into any stations. retuned it to local Walmart for refund with no problem. I ended up buying a Sony digital walkman in store for $35.00 that works pretty good. maybe i just got a bad one,but i did not fool with trying another one. good luck if you do, but don't expect to much.

Good product overall. I didn't check the product's description for it's size, so I was rather surprised when it showed up. It's about two to 3 times the size of the average mp3 player. So I'd expect it to be one. You should know it's lowest volume setting is loud enough. Pretty easy to operate. (I bought it to listen to my Diamondbacks on AM radio because mp3 players only have FM.) The clock keeps time well. It's nice to have a HOLD button to avoid any unintentional button pressing when it's in your pocket. It's a nice little gadget for the price. Yes, I recommend it if you'r looking simply for AM and FM radio.
