Great product! Taken with 1st bite of any dairy product, aids in the digestion for those who are lactose intolerant. Without this product I am unable to eat any foods containing dairy. With Lactaid Ultra, I am able to eat and drink dairy without any ill effects. Can be chewed if desired, with good results-chew with first bite of dairy food-the taste is bland enough that it does not interfere with the taste of the food. This product allows me to enjoy eating and drinking dairy again!

Newly diagnosed with Fructose Malabsorption and a sensitivity to Lactose, I have tried many products for lactose intolerance. Most have sugar alcohols that upset my stomach, but not this Lactaid. This is the only lactase pill I've found that is free of sugar alcohols.

If you are lactose intolerant, and only those with this disorder know what it is and how it makes you feel, then this is exactly what you need. Lactaid caplets are a must have and really get the job done. They immediately stop the bloating, and cramping associated with this disorder and help you to continue to eat the dairy products you want to eat. A must have!!

This product works very well when consuming milk-based foods. It's been totally effective for me thus far...even allowing me to eat a large portion of lasagne. I'm still experimenting with how many pills to take with various foods, but so far, so good.
