But it was by no means simple to put together. You should offer a service to put these sort of things together. Would have been worth the price.

Quality product as advertised. You need to have patience when assembling the bench. Bench is a little high for short people like me. Other than that, its serves my purpose. I am a satisfied customer.

After reading all the product reviews on walmart.com for the different benches they carry, this had the best reviews, so i chose to try it. Given that I could easily return it if not satisfied, i saw little risk in buying it, and at such a low price, it seemed like a win-win. After having it for 2 weeks and using it daily, this is by far the best one i could have chosen. Its extremely sturdy, great padding, easy to adjust, and its longer and wider than most others. Having the foot holds is a nice addition as well. I'm 100% satisfied with my this and would recommend it for sure.

This bench really is heavy duty and great!! I love this thing. I am using it to workout and do dumb bell work outs on as well as using it for some ab workouts. Its great and is simple to put together. It is commercial grade quality!!! My only complaint, and it is a small one. is that it does not quite decline as much as I would want, however it still works great!

this bench is pretty good and well made ,but my only minor problem is that when i sit on it toward the front of the bench the bench can easily sway side to side on the count of there being one narrow stand and the back having a more spread out wide stand design ,oh and yeah they did not supply a tool to hold the nuts and bolts while using the L WRENCH , and the size of the biggest nut in the package was not a standard nut because i have a tool set with just about every size for every bolt and there was not one large enough .i had to go out to my car and use my lug wrench . after i got it together its pretty good bench.

It's just a bench, but its good, sturdy and steady bench that lives up to its purpose. Assembly was easy, and the quality of construction make an excellent value. Customer support is top shelf; my bench pad arrived with a slight rip that was almost unnoticable, but with one quick call (and no questions asked) a replacement was promptly shipped to me at no charge. My one complaint is that I fall into the crack between the seat and backrest when doing my situps, but simply stuffing a rag into the crack solved that issue. For a bench, I'm satisfied.

Excellent quality for the price. Size and stability is good also. For the price, you can't go wrong. I would say it is comparable to the bowflex bench going for $160. The only negative is that the decline doesn't go as low as I wanted for decline benching. It has a steel pin that stops the bench from going to full decline position. It does go slightly decline though and is good enough for some decent decline benching. I'm very pleased with the product!

I will give this Marcy Bench a four star rating. As one other review mentioned, the actual bench is slightly different than the one shown on the website. The one that ships to you will not have the cut out portion on the seat end. It still is a great bench and heavy duty enough for me. My max is 75 lb dumbbells and I weigh 150 so that is pretty much the limit. For those who weigh more and want heavier weights, I suggest a heavier bench. The maximum weight limit is 300 lbs and this includes your own weight. Overall, it is fairly simple to assemble and it very easy to change back positions. It is very stable and I would recommend it for persons looking for a reasonable bench with a reasonable cost. Other sites charged 50 dollars more for the same bench. Good job Walmart! Keep it real. Being a fairly large person at 6' 3" and 290 lbs, I was looking for something solid. This bench fits the bill, and the price was better than some of the other wimpier benches I looked at. I am totally satisfied with what I got.

Although the bench is sturdy, easy to assemble, and a good value for the money, it doesn't incline as far as I believed it would. I bought it mainly to do incline sit-ups on. I will still use it for free weights...pretty useless for incline sit-ups, though. Should have done more research before purchasing.

I saw this exact same bench at a local sports store for $100 more than Walmart. Naturally I was worried this one would be different and I'd be disappointed, but the bench was exactly as pictured. Assy is required, so be sure you have a few wrenches handy to put it together. Everything fit together well and the instructions were good - took maybe 1/2 hour to assemble. I use the bench for dumbell workouts - it is very stable and meets all my expectations.

This bench is versatile and decent for the money. Only complaint is it 'creaks' a bit when weight is put on it towards the end. I don't think its going to snap or anything, but if you put a lot of weight on one end (between yourself and whatever you are pushing), it may creak on you. Hoping it holds up well.
