Everyone in my family has a DS. Even my 4 year old has a DS.
I bought this one for my husband to upgrade his DS phat.
If your on the fence as far as getting one, indulge yourself and get one. If it's for someone else it's a great gift. With games for every age and gender, you will always find games for it.
I silver color is very nice, screen is nice and bright.

I was dubious about the wisdom of purchasing the DS for my 7 yr old. I was afraid it would be a little too advanced for her. She doesn't play many video type games, so I thought she was just wanting what she'd been hearing other kids talk about. I took a chance and am glad I did. It's been very easy for her to learn to navigate, while she has had to learn some things. She has been gaming with a friend and I think it's been a good learning tool and confidence booster for the both of them. This is an awesome product and well worth every penny it cost!

This is a great product! I would recomend this to anyone who is looking for a gaming devise like this. My wife loves the weight lose program and hasn't tried the cooking program yet, but is having alot of fun with this.

My 2 older daughters got this for Christmas and they love them! We use them for long trips to visit family in another state. Makes the long trips much quiter for us and faster feeling for them! Also works well with the Gameboy Advance games we already had!
