I got this for my niece for Christmas. If you play the game non stop, you can have the little plush out in about 10 hours. She enjoyed it so much she used her Christmas monies to get another one.
Note: The top WILL pop open when its done, its spring-loaded.

It was purchased as a CHRISTmas gift, so I don't know how dependable it actually works. It looks very sturdy and the bright color is beautiful. It makes a sound when you move it around so it could be fun to wrap and let them shake it, as long as they weren't already familiar with the sound and spoil the surprise. I am expecting this to be a hit. There are other toys that are like pets that you take care of but this one you have to do it a special way and then when you do, the top pops open to reveal another part of the toy. There are 7 levels of the game and the top only opens when it is "fully grown". 2 AAA batteries are included. My favorite part was how easy it was to order online and it arrived really quickly even during this season.

This is by far the best gift because it is actually 2 in one you gotta play the game get thru levels to get what ever mymeeba is inside, helps with hand eye co-ordination which is a good thing, I bought 4 of them in 4 different colors so my grand daughter can play one then another, long lasting fun. There are a ton of different critters that you could get finding out which one keeps them playing. So if you want a toy that won't just be set aside get a few of these really I think it's gonna be alot of fun. Thanks Enjoy gramalois

My 6 year old daughter got this as a birthday present after seeing it on commercial after commercial....She is not at all dissapointed...It's something to work for. Great for a road trip and has the option to play or evolve. Games are simple but each level changes so it doesn't stay the same. And in the end there's a tangible prize. It's all about making a collection. Don't expect to have a prize the first day unless you are absolutely diligent at it....but it doesn't take a whole lot of time...just enough to keep the kids interested...then another comes along.

My six-year-old daughter saw advertisements for this product on a children's game website, and went absolutely bonkers for it. We purchased it as a behavioral reward for her. The games are ridiculously simple, and it only took about three hours of playing time for the Meeba to "hatch". The actual Meeba is a cheap, flimsy little toy, and both the Meeba and game tube were promptly abandoned after the anticipation of the "hatching" was fulfilled. While she tremendously enjoyed playing the games and watching the Meeba "grow" inside the tube, it is now just another useless piece of plastic and fluff lying around my house. The price is ridiculous for what you get. My strong advice - don't bother.
