Allen bike carriers are among the best quality and the online price here is a steal - about half of the normal street price. Sturdy and well engineered with one exception in my case. The unit tilts away from the car so you can open the rear on hatchback styled SUV's but the base still sticks up too high for vehicles with a tailgate. Forget that even once and you'll end up with an expensive 2" square hole in your tailgate. ouch...
On the plus side, it also does commendably well as a wheelchair carrier. It's easy enough for elderly to swing it down and attach the chair, then swing back up and lock in place one handed.
I'd recommend this carrier over any other sold on Walmart.com. It's a popular item and you can find many positive reviews for it on the internet.
