I bought the Okuma size 10 & it was such a great reel I ordered the size 15, Im so pleased with it, I am going to get the next size larger. This reel is smooth, quit, and so far trouble free. You must use the size line recomended for best casting results, but thats true with any reel.

This reel is absolutely AWESOME!!! I purchased this little jewel and since I've first used it, I haven't been able to put it down. I've neglected my other rod and reels and almost feel like I'm having withdrawls if I'm not using this one. It is absoultely perfect for catching speckled and white trout. I recently went fishing and both my boat mate and I were using this rig and we tore the specks up! The response of this reel along with the 20 lb Power Pro line that I put on it just left me in awe. And the price is just amazing! You can't find another deal like it! If you don't have one of these in your arsenal, you'd better get one quick! I'm going to purchase another one real soon.

I was thinking this might have been a little bigger. Not a big deal as I was sizing down. Have not been on the water yet to test, however the reel feels good on the rod I have for speckled trout. I was using an inexpensive reel for the trout as I find I get more enjoyment with the lighter setup for trout in the 1-2 pound range and occasionally up to 5 pounds.

Could pass up the deal. I got this real from Walmart at about 66% off! The drag is nice and smooth and the capacity is better than the Aveon sz 10. So far, it's helped me catch some small bream and feisty carp. I look forward to using it for many years to come.

I bought this reel on a recomendation from a fishing friend. He had high prases for this reel. He said how smooth it was. I bought this reel and "I beg a differ". It is a good looking reel,but... not as smooth as he said it was. It says it's a 10 bearing reel,it doesn't act like one. I have an 8 bearing reel and it very smooth,my favorite reel. It asks like a 3 bearing reel. I have not used it yet on the water, I had bought it for a fishing trip to Louisiana in June,2009. I'll see how it acts then.

I hadn't heard of this real before finding it on Walmart's web site. It is a very balanced reel that will cast with very little effort, but with one draw back. Since it has a small spool that reaches the end of the line just before it comes to the end of it's casting length and is drawn back a little. But none the less a great real for the price.It's a keeper.

Great reel for a good price. I got it for $40 and haven't seen it anywhere else for under $80. Very smooth retrieve and casts far with trilene 4 or 6 lb line. I paired it with an okuma celilo 5'6 rod and it's the perfect combo for me. Caught 14 bass just this morning in the 1 to 2 1/2 LB range. If your going for the real big fish you might want a bigger set up but for trout, small bass and panfish you can't beat this setup!

I was a little disappointed when I seen the spool size, which isn't very much. That must be why they give you two spools. For 6 lb line it only holds 50 yds of line, for saltwater fishing this isn't giong to cut it. Very light weight, makes it nice for fishing all day as long as the rod is light also.

An excellent reel and what a superb bargain....for some reason it was only $35.00 and now @ 40.. it is still excellent price as regular retail is about $130.00 Need I say more??It is an excellent ultra light reel....PERIOD!!
