I bought this for my wife as a birthday present. She is almost always a little on the chilly side. This is just perfect for her. I bought the twin size so that she could curl up in it on the couch and have plenty of space. This was a great gift for her and I am hoping it lasts for years to come. Thus far she has used it frequently for 2 months

Purchased this product to replace a blanket that burned up from the ice storm. I am very happy with this blanket--especially the 10 hour shut off feature. I always sleep with an electric blanket because I really do get cold and cannot sleep without one. I give this blanket a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. Couldn't be happier with this product. Highly recommended and the service was very quick by Walmart!

great product for a great price. works really well. love the fact that it's duel sided because I like it warmer than my husband. and even though I like a warm bed, I still only have to turn it up to 2 or even I will burn up.
the only negative is that i would call the dial a little bulky, but please don't think it's huge. it is 3.5"x4.5". additionally, the wires can be felt if the blanket sits directly over your sheet. we fixed this by placing a thin blanket (a velex -- sp?) between the electric blanket and our sheet.

My other Sunbeam blanket just gave up the ghost after 5 years, so I thought I'd give this one a try. It's a bit heavier than my old blanket. Softer too. Best new feature is the preheat function - much better than having to leave the blanket on high for an hour before getting into bed. It's perfect for those chilly Sierra nights.

I thought about buying one of these for a long time but I thought they were over priced. I live in an old house and with the price of fuel oil I just had to do something. Now I love it. I haven't gotten an electric bill yet so I don't know if it will save me any money but I don't even care. It feels just so good to climb into the warm bed and my knees used to bother me all the time during the winter but now it's like sleeping with a heating pad on my knees all night. I think my cats like it too. The settings go up to ten(I can't imagine) I use it set at a 3 or 4 and the preheat function is great. I just can't believe I never got one of these sooner.

I selected this based on reviews and because I wanted a blanket that would be soft and not so wirey.
This was perfect and my husband loves it. I got the twin size and was pleasantly surprised to find it was wider than I expected. I have not had it long enough to have washed it but read on one review that it should be washed along in a front loader to get the best results. The material feels really nice to the touch.

please at xmas. He bragged about how warm it was,
soft and cuddly. On high it gets too warm,he
liked the automatic shutoff feature after 10 hours. Using it at night,he can have a lower room temperature,saving energy to heat his home.

The electric blanket is great, it pre-heats so the bed is nice and warm when I get in. The cord is extra long; which is very convienent. Don't turn it up to high though, it will sweat you out of bed. Very good product.

This is my first time purchasing an electric blanket. I researched all reviews and pricing of many electric blankets. This one is great. I love the pre-heat feature. The blanket have 10 settings. I use the number 2 setting--which is just enough heat. I look forward to getting in bed, especially on those chilly nights (I do not like cold sheets, except in warmer weather). The rollback price for a queen size bed was also what sold me. It is a great blanket--no problem thus far. Easy setup for a nearby outlet. I recommend this blanket along with no known problems of shedding. Also, the timer is good if needed.

2 years ago I bought a sunbeam warming blanket. It only warms me and the spot that I lay in. This blanket warms the entire bed, heats faster and is warmer. It's fleece is much thicker than the other blanket-material. I've already recommended it to others. And, I bought it based on other posted recommendations.

I bought this blanket for my elderly aunt in Manhattan and set it up for her. It looked good on the bed and following the advice of another reviewer, I put a second regular blanket on top of it to trap the heat. Aunt E. used it that very first night - and reported that she slept a full 6 hours w/o waking. The first time she'd done that in months. I think the blanket is a success. Recommended.
