Hoover Whisper Cyclonic Upright Vacuum

I love this vaccuum! it looks pretty beastly and is a little heavy - expected this since I read it on previous review - but its the performance I care about anyway. I needed a good vaccuum to get short dog hair out of berber carpet (it gets really stuck in the loops) and this does the job. The removable handle attachment is awesome too because it works sort of like a canister vac so you can get under furniture.
Can I also just say I was thrilled with the shipping time! It came 3 days early- wow.

THIS UNIT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY WOULD FIX THE HOSE HOLDER AND OFFER MORE TOOLS

I had owned a Hoover for over 8 years before having to replace it. So far this vacuum has lived up to the other reviews. It is a tad bit heavy but seems to be very well made. My last Hoover had great "edge" feature that allowed it to get close to the base boards, this one does not. So far that is the only thing I do not like.

Very quiet. Wide track. Can turn roller brush on or off. Easy to empty. Only negative is I would have liked it to include an extension tube for using the attachments.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. I have a dyson and we both agree this product is very similiar except much cheaper than the dyson.

This vacuum is great! It's sharp looking, easy to handle, and quiet! It even made our carpet smell fresher! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because 1. It's a little pricer being over $100 and 2. it does not have a retractable cord. Those are really the only 2 cons. Because of this, I would reccommend this vacuum to anyone!

The whisper lives up to it's name as a quite vacuum, but didn't have near the sucking power I was looking for. The extention for cleaning stairs was a great plus, but without the power, I had to send it back.

This vacuum has already exceed my expectations and I've not even had it for one day! The vacuum I was using before was really really bad...I had to get down on all 4's and use the hose to vacuum the carpet. This Hoover was a snap to get assembled and it was quiet and it left those cutesy track marks on my carpet, and the more I vacuumed, the more I wanted to continue vacuuming. I know it's crazy, but the texture of the carpet changed as I was vacuuming...it was softer and WAY cleaner! It was almost like it was a cleaner/steamer b/c my carpets look brand new after one time with the Hoover! I was amazed at how much gunk was getting in the reservoir and happily suprised that to remove it and dump it in the trash was a breeze as well! We've vacuumed our blinds, the ceiling fan blades, the stairs and honestly, we threw crumbs in the floor just to be wowed once more at the suction on the vacuum. If you're reading this and on the fence...PLEASE! Put this in your shopping cart now and you will be a happy camper when it comes in! Ooh, and the wand piece on the top is long and helps reduce bending for the stairs, I love that it has 2 attachments, brush and crevice...cuz that's all you'll need anyway! The only thing negative I can say is, it is heavier than I expected..however it must be heavy b/c of the brilliant motor and necessary items inside for it to perform like it does, so I can look past that, as I know look forward to vacuuming b/c it is "the best vac i've ever had"...Love my Hoover! Go get you one right now!!

It's quiet and powerful. The material feels weak, hopefully it will last. Overall, it's a good value product.
