This is definitely worth the money. Its a little heavy, but I tend to associate heaviness with more durability. Not always the case, but usually is. Suction power is great. Wouldnt say its whisper quiet, but its not tremendously loud either. Easy to use, and assemble. Would definitely buy another unit at this price. Great bang for your buck.

I am in LOVE with this vacuum! It was very easy to assemble, actually it was practically fully assembled upon arrival. I was amazed with the amount of debris it picked up with the first use because I had used my old vacuum right before I tried the new one. It's VERY quiet and enjoyable to use, and doesn't scare my 7 month old at all. It is a bit heavier than I was expecting, but it easy to maneuver so it doesn't bother me much. Overall it's a great vacuum and would recommend it to anyone!

I have had an Oreck and recently a Garry. Don't waste your money. Using the Whisper one time convinced me that it does what it is supposed to. I was very impressed and felt my carpet was truly clean. You can see the dirt it picks up. YUK! I already have recommended to several people. Well worth the money, Yes it is a bit heavy but it is sturdy also. If it does this I don't care if it weighs a ton!

Very heavy vacuum to operate. Used once, and cleaned pretty well. The 2nd time I used it, I grabed the handle to lift up the stairs and a piece broke off where the dirt container is attached. Could not use the vacuum after that. Walmart gave a full refund with no hassle. Disappointed in the product.

Very heavy but rolls okay. Nake sure you have the brush high enough on carpets You don't want to have to carry it far or up stairs. It would be nice if flex hose extended a little better.

I have had it for about a month now it is really quite and the suction is great My daughter is no longer scared of the vacuum! It doesn't have a light on it i didn't know that until i received but that's no big deal. On thing is the dirt cup is the see through canister so some of the stuff gets stuck in there so you have to pull it out other then that i love it. I have 2 dogs and a cat and picks up the hair great!!! AWESOME

So the new carpet was placed and I hated the fibers that my old vacuum was not picking up. Read the other reviews and figured lets give it a try I can always return it ( NOT ) This is the best buy I have made runs great some what quite when on the carpet and alot more when on bare floors. LOVE the vac! Got it when I moved into my new apt, and let me tell you...they claim the carpets in there were shampooed before i moved in. there is either NO POSSIBLE WAY that those carpets were shampooed, or this vacuum is just extraordinary. it continually pulls dirt from way deep in the carpet and after a few runs over my carpet, the carpet looks cleaner than the day i first set foot in my apartment, after the alleged "shampooing." this is a wonderful vac!

I've used the Dyson vacuume and for the money this one blows it away! This is the best vacuume I've ever owned! Thank you for all of the great reviews folks have written! I now can highly recommend it! The one downfall of this vacuume is that it isn't lightweight, so for stairs you may want to get something smaller. I'm overall a satisfied customer!

Works better than the electrolux it replaced. It picked up lint I didn't realize was there. The only shortcoming is the way the handle is made it may not be as easy to us the tools cleaning out a car though it will be possible. It leaves the carpets noticeably cleaner than the previous machine.

Good product with a big flaw,

I'm writing this to give potential buyers a heads-up about what could happen that would make the vacuum unusable without some intervention. In the photo, please note the plastic piece that locks the canister onto the vacuum (green arrow). What you can't see is that the other end of this lever (red arrow), also plastic, is inside the vacuum and is quite flimsy. If you routinely use the handle to move the vacuum around - and who wouldn't? - that flimsy part will probably eventually break. When it does, unless you are the type who can figure things out and fix them, you might as well put the vacuum out next trash day. Extreme? Not at all. If the canister will not stay locked on, you can neither pick the unit up nor use it to vacuum. Without this part functioning properly, the canister will not stay on the vacuum. End of story. It is unbelievable to me that an engineer would use a cheap plastic part for this vital function. I've managed to make the vacuum usable again by drilling the back of the vacuum, inserting a bolt and attaching a bungee cord to it. The other end, as you can see in the photo, is wrapped around the canister handle. This arrangement holds the canister in place in a front to back way. The other part of the solution is the Quick-Grip clamp that holds the canister down. They make cleaning out the canister kind of annoying, but both are necessary to continue using the vacuum which, by the way, is about 18 months old. With the exception of this one very serious flaw, the vacuum is an excellent value.

This Vacuum cleans great! It's very quiet and looks so nice, the only downside is the weight. I was used to a light vacuum. If you have any issues with carrying something heavy, this one isn't for you. Easy to dump and keep clean are a plus.
