Hoover Whisper Cyclonic Upright Vacuum

It's nice a wide so it vacuums a wide area at one time. It's pretty good at getting up pet hair. For the price, you can't beat it.

If you are in the least bit interested in this vacuum, get it. Money well spent, reasonably priced, performs well and looks good too!

I bought this product a little bit more then a year ago. I absolutely love it! The first thing that drew me towards this particular vacuum was the color. I love the blue, it's very pretty. The second thing was the claim that it was quiet... I didn't quite believe it but once I got it home it was MUCH quieter. We live in a 2 family apartment and with my old vacuum... I felt bad running it at any given time and with this one I feel comfortable running it at 8 in the morning or 8 at night. It picks up well and I have a 3 yr old and 1 year old... so I vacuum daily. I LOVE the pull out wand! It's by far the best feature of this vacuum. Snack time is in the living room so I end up with cheerios and other misc. food items and I can just reach out with the wand and suck them up. It's also very easy to suck up cobwebs or spiders from my 9 ft. ceilings.

The downfall to this vacuum would be the canister to empty it. You have to reach your hand in and pull all the hair and dust out because most of it gets stuck.

This is by far the strongest vacuum I have ever used. I never have to go over an area more than once, and I have never changed the filter in the year that I've owner it. My only complaint is that I frequently use the upholstery/dusting attachment and it seems to have lost its tightness, so it always falls off the end of the extension wand during use. The hose is supposed to be a 12' stretch hose but you cannot stretch it more than a foot or two without knocking the vacuum over, and I have yet to find a compatible extender for the hose. Other than that, the vacuum is exceptional. It's so quiet that I can keep the tv on and hear it while I'm vacuuming. I often vacuum my throw rugs and it's very gentle on them but still sucks up all the dust and dirt. I only wish there were more accessories available for it.

I love this vaccuum! it looks pretty beastly and is a little heavy - expected this since I read it on previous review - but its the performance I care about anyway. I needed a good vaccuum to get short dog hair out of berber carpet (it gets really stuck in the loops) and this does the job. The removable handle attachment is awesome too because it works sort of like a canister vac so you can get under furniture.
Can I also just say I was thrilled with the shipping time! It came 3 days early- wow.

THIS UNIT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY WOULD FIX THE HOSE HOLDER AND OFFER MORE TOOLS

I had owned a Hoover for over 8 years before having to replace it. So far this vacuum has lived up to the other reviews. It is a tad bit heavy but seems to be very well made. My last Hoover had great "edge" feature that allowed it to get close to the base boards, this one does not. So far that is the only thing I do not like.

Very quiet. Wide track. Can turn roller brush on or off. Easy to empty. Only negative is I would have liked it to include an extension tube for using the attachments.
