I purchased this trash can about a year ago. It accents well with the stainless steel appliances. I love the touchless feature. My wife and I thought the price was high for the product and she certainly did not agree with me purchasing it (but she doesn't mind using it). She call the trash can my toy. My two kids (2 & 3yrs old) thought it was their toy. They kept making the lid go up and down for the longest time (The lid go up and down when their is movement in front of it, even if you walk pass it).

Really got this to keep my beagle out of the trash. Had a step on can, which he could lift open. This has settled that problem!! The can opens a little too slow sometimes, but I still am very happy with it and it seems to hold a lot more than the other can.

I'm SO pleased with my new trash can! The sensor feature is a great invention because you don't have to touch the can at all and you can keep it always clean. It's a little expensive but compared to other garbage cans that are not cheap and break very easily, this one is worth every penny!

I bought this one after reading the reviews. I did standard shipping but got it the next day. This touchless trashcan is a great product and everyone that comes to my house thinks it is so cool so I tell them where to get it. I was worried that my chef husband would hate it but he actually loves it. Sad they don't sell these in the stores next to the non touchless cans.

We bought this itouch to replace one that we have had for approximately 2 years. The lid raising mechanism broke. But we liked it so much we bought this replacement. Cool and functional product. Bigger opening then other 13 gallon styles avail by other manufactures. Pretty quiet operation. (not louder than other models). After searching on line, Walmart appeared to have one of the most competitive prices for the item.

Other reviews were very helpful in my decision to purchase. Love this product. It looks great. Works as described, and as an added bonus is very entertaining. I find it very amusing when the lid opens if I just walk by it a little too close. If this will annoy you...word to the wise that you might not like it or should put it in a low traffic area. I like that you can tuck in the garbage bag but the inside ring that holds it in is a little cumbersome (but not overtly so)....actually works like similar cans I have seen so not specific to this one.

This is the perfect trash can to have when disabled. My husband can not bend over very well without falling. This solves the problem! Easy and fun to use! No more getting garbage all over the can when your hands are full. Just walk up and toss it away! I really enjoy this item!

I bought this trash can to match the stainless steel appliances in my new apartment. It looks absolutely wonderful in the kitchen. This was definitely an extravagant purchase, but it works and looks great. If you hate fumbling with your trash can lid, you will definitely love the touchless open and close feature. It works great and is very quiet. The sides of the can seem a little thin and may dent easy so that is the reason for the 4 stars on durability. I am the only person in my apartment, so I don't anticipate any dents, but if you have kids or a large dog, they might easily dent the sides.

The product works great and you'll wonder why you didn't buy one before. I wondered if the automatic lid would seal tight enough to contain the smell of the rubbish, and it does.
One thing to note is how the lid opens. When looking at the photo, it looks like it would open from the widest side, however, it opens from from the narrowest side. Imagine the photo was taken with you standing in front of it where the lid opens and the can moved to the left about 45 degrees. Hence, this particular size can does not have a huge opening, so if you were tossing a lot of food from a regular sized plate, you would need to be careful to ensure it went in the can and not spill to the left or right of the opening.

I returned this item for several reasons. First, I wanted to place it in a pantry style kitchen cupboard but the door to the cupboard interfered with the sensor keeping it perpetually open. Second, when I removed the trashcan from the cupboard the sensor did not always work. Although it does come with a manual open and close buttons, it defeated the purpose.

This trash can is a great value. It looks a lot better in person than on the web site. The only bad thing is that it's a little more difficult to get the trash bag in than a regular trash can. But it's not that big of deal. I really like this trash can. It's a lot of fun!

I just can say enough about it. It is easy to keep clean, easy to use (no hands), there are not parts to rust & break off (step on pedal from other pails)and bag changing is very easy. I would recommed anyone who is a senior or who has children to invest the extra money to purchase it. It is well worth it. You can also look at it as a conversation piece when visitors come. Not many people own one.

I love this product. Looks really well in my kitchen with the other stainless steel appliances. I like the fact that I do not have to touch the trash can when I am throwing things away. I also have a small daughter that likes to mess with it alot so there is a switch on the back to turn it off when ever necessary. This item has met my expectations. Very durable.

I purchased a garbage can from Costco but returned it within days when I found that the automatic lid only opened occasionally. I researched and found the iTouchless 13 gallon can on the Walmart website. But I was skeptical given my previous experience so I research it on the web at the iTouchless website to make sure this one didn't have any customer complaints. I found very few complaints so I took the plunge and purchased it. I have found that it works as advertised, seems sturdy enough, and looks great in the kitchen. I do love this product. I am glad I made the purchase. This one won't be going back!

this trash can is great. it looks good in the kitchen works just like advertised and a great value when we were looking at other cans that were touchless. Uses a regular 13gallon bag has a ring that keeps it from falling down and keeps it hidden so you don't see the abg from the outside. I would highly recommend this product.

I started out intending to purchase the traditional stainless steel half round trash can with the foot pedal which raises the lid. While researching those cans, I came across this product and decided to give it a try. So far, I have not been disappointed. In fact, so far, I love it - and so do my grandchildren. They actually love to throw their trash away now. The can is compact but really holds much more trash than you would think to look at it. As for it's durability, only time will tell, but for now, I'm impressed.

Every thing about this product is great with two very important exceptions.
1. The batttery cage is too flimsy, we ended up taping it so batteries did not keep falling in the trash,
2. The D batteries have to be changed too often, and they are expensive to replace.
Otherwise we love the way it looks in our kitchen!
