I never really liked Corelle. Typically, like heavy plates, but I gave in and bought these plates. I could not deal with chipped plates any more! Now, I have plates that do not chip!

This pattern is so pretty. I love it. The bowls have a gray edge. The mugs are not made of the same durable material, but they are pretty.

I originally purchased a damask dinnerware set from target. Within a few months,a plate had a big crack in it. They were so cheaply made! So i found these & i LOVE them! They were about the same price & are chip resistant. They are SSOOOOO pretty! I am very happy!

The quality is no doubt very good. However, i am completly disappointed to see PLAIN white soup bowls. I can't understand why they are not exacly as the design of plates and mugs. I just did not return it as the rest of the items, especially their design match with my dinning's decor.

"Corelle" Stoneware mugs, 03/13/2009

I was drawn to the tasteful white and gray pattern, it is equally appealling in person. The only thing that annoys me is that the mugs are stoneware, not the durable chip resistant Corelle material the dishes and bowls are made of. The description mentions stoneware mugs at the end. The Corelle pieces have a blue tint and the stoneware mugs have a gray tint to them. But for the price and durablity of dishes and bowls, not a bad deal.
