The PS2 has always been a good system and the Satin Silver Edition is even better. It looks and runs better than the older PS2 Slim version. It doesn't heat up like my old one did either.

Being that I had never owned a PS2 before, but had played friend's - I was pretty sure what to expect. I love how small the unit is and how sleek it looks on the shelf. My husband plays it almost every night once the kiddo is in bed and it gives him a chance to relax and wind down from the day. I think the value, compared to other systems, is unbeatable. And you can get brand new games for $20, not all the other systems can say that. So it's not one of the units where you buy it and get 1 game and have only that 1 game until you can afford to drop $50 on a new one.. it's perfect!

This version of the PS2 is a lot smaller and lighter weight. It plays just as well, if not better, and it doesn't seem to have that overheating problem often apparent in the original PS2. Overall, I'd give this a better rating than its ancestor, which is already pretty high up there.

I bought this for my granddaughters 4 Xmas, and they play it EVERYDAY! It's not the latest or greatest video game on the market, but it's all I could afford. The price was right, I like the look, and the most important thing is that it gets daily use and provides hours of fun for my babygirlz. :o)

My boys (ages 6 and 11) loves the the PS2 I purchased for Christmas. They actually preferred it over the WII and plays it night and day. It's very easy to operate and the good thing about it is that their PS1 controller works with it so I didn't have to purchase an another controller for them to compete against each other. I would recommend this product to anyone.

This game just keeps getting better. I love the sleek new look, and optional silver and white colors as an alternative to the soft grey and black. The game plays great, and there are so many games to choose from for this system. The games are also not as expensive as PS3, Xbox games, or Wii games. Can you say "affordable?"

The product is up and running, even bought the games at Walmart to go with and its great. The one thing I was not expecting was that it has a flip top to insert the disc instead of a slide out insert area. But I guess that really doesnt matter.

Pros : I love the silver color, first of all. It looks so good. The Ps2 will be the best console ever made for years to come. I don't care what anyone says, the PS2 is the best console ever! Good graphics, and hardly ever tares up if you take care of it. Cons : Dust forms on them a lot and that's my only problem i can think of. All you have to do is get a wet paper towel and wipe over it. Done!

I have purchased 2 of these over the past couple of years. The first one stopped playing various colored disks. We replaced it last fall. After only using is for about 4 months, it says "unable to read disk". Your money would be better spent on another system, unless you are OK with replacing it every year. What a disappointment.
